Vacation rentals with breakfast in Western North Carolina

Erin's place is terrific for families traveling with children. We were especially delighted to discover a potty and toys in the kids room -- both made traveling with an active toddler so much easier. The space was lovely, welcoming, and nicely decorated, while still holding up to younger travelers -- it was a relief not to need to worry -- and Erin even put up a Christmas tree for our stay over the holidays! I would absolutely recommend this home for traveling families.

It was very convenient, easy to get to, and my youth group of middle school boys loved the farm house. They ooed and awes over the decor. Yes, I’m talking about middle school boys. The place was spotless, everything was there that we needed, and we were all very comfortable.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay. My wife liked the accessories in the kitchen. She felt like she was in her kitchen. We will be back again.

We got to meet John when we checked in, and he was wonderful. His place is gorgeous. It’s right in old Salem, impeccably furnished and decorated. The building itself is an antique – it was like stepping back in time. His house is a lovely two story brick building , 3 BR two bath, full kitchen, lovely backyard garden home next door to the Zeverly Inn, and close to the Salem Tavern. It’s a perfect place to walk anywhere you want to go in Old Salem - so special to be right there, but with all the comforts of modern life that you need to have a happy visit. Thank you John!

We stayed at the Hunt House during my mother's funeral. It was perfect for hosting out-of-town family members and guests. The common areas were perfect for family gatherings, and the kids loved the outdoor areas of this large property. Everything was perfect from start to finish.

It's one thing when you're made to feel at home, but when the host treats it like it is YOUR home more than theirs, it's just something extra. Norma's house is my home away from home when visiting family! Best host ever!

My Husband and I absolutely love Taylor's home. It is quiet, comfortable, and in a great location in the heart of Charlotte. The backyard takes the cake, it is huge and fenced in for furbabies. We felt right at home and very much enjoyed her furbaby sharing his toys with our little furniece and furnephew. Taylor, thank you again for the hospitality, we loved your home and were comfortable!

We had an amazing stay! Matthew is a great host! Super helpful and always there for us, ready to help with anything we need!! The apartment was clean, cozy, and inviting! It felt like home! Kitchen was fully equipped! Thank you for all the thoughtful treats, board games and the lovely tea! The bedrooms were super comfy, too! The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to the city center! Plus, it was a treat to catch up on classic shows like Little House on the Prairie—such a nostalgic bonus! A perfect weekend escape with a relaxing backyard to overlook from the hot tub. Very comfy bed and spacious living room. Love the pancake touch, very thoughtful.

Melodie was really nice and we loved her farm! Her whole family was very nice and welcoming! The animals were so friendly! If I could change one thing it’d be the mattress in the master bedroom it’s pretty firm so I didn’t sleep much but it was okay.

This was our second stay at this Airbnb. Always a pleasure to stay there. Barbara and Anthony are wonderful hosts! We referred this Airbnb with friends to use when they visit in Knoxville. We plan to return in the future!

So much to say about this charming place and the people and animals who live there! My husband and I loved our visit and look forward to going back in the spring. The farm is on a gorgeous piece of land surrounded by so much beauty. The area is peaceful and relaxing. It's a great place to connect with nature. We also loved feedings the animals--goats, horses, and a donkey. This was such a fun way to start our day. The animals are adorable and so loved! Kathleen is a gourmet cook and made us the most amazing and delicious breakfasts both mornings we stayed on the farm. We also enjoyed the homemade goat soap. Highly recommend a stay on the farm. It's good for the mind, body, and soul!

Close proximity to Clemson and very easy to get there. The room was super clean and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable, there is a small refrigerator in the room, a fan and plenty of room. Hosts are very friendly. Great place to stay!

Staying here was like staying with your favorite relative, very cozy, beautiful views, a hike with a Mountain View on the property, the sweetest dog you could want who welcomes you any time you pull up. We wish we could come here every year. Sharon’s coffee cakes were delicious and she provided a little breakfast and snacks every day. This far exceeded our expectations and the price was very affordable. Also, Weaverville is the cutest little town and only 20 minutes from Asheville.

Wonderful accommodations! The entire 3 bedroom floor was decorated beautifully, very clean, comfortable and convenient to everything. Angelia was a magnificent host and always available to assist. Everything went smoothly and we had a perfect stay and will definitely be back again! Highly recommend!!!

The Old Oak Farm is like staying at your grandparents place (but more modern). Great little farm, animals are great. The whole experience was wonderful. Steve and Michael welcomed me like a member of the family. The rooms were beautiful and bed...the most comfortable EVER. If in Stuart area, this is the place to stay. I will be a return guest.

I could have not asked for a better host and location! It was absolutely wonderful and my favorite part was having easy access to snacks at any point of time. I thoroughly appreciated it.
