communication before and during our trip was excellent. Our host went above and beyond for us..not only was homemade sodabread, Jam and the basic necessities available we arrived to Easter buns too. one of our children had a yearning for mango pepsi which he'd tasted before in NI and several trips and phonecalls by our host were made to try find him a can! we arrived to a cosy fire lit by him and he offered many occasions to light it and got the snooker room ready for us which was a great hit with the kids. lovely space outside to play and even enjoy the Easter egg hunt. our sleeping arrangements were great...privacy for parents and plenty of space to sleep for 4 kids if the sofa bed is used. all said they slept well in comfortable beds. I would recommend staying here ..great base for Strangford lough...Newtownards and Newcastle for climbing Slieve Donard. thankyou hosts!

I was getting married down the road at Orange Tree house and needed to book accommodation for two of my guests. Wendy’s place was perfect, just a mile or so up the road. My guests commented on how lovely the place was and how comfortable a sleep they had after our wedding celebrations. Wendy was fantastic to communicate with and very helpful. When her mother met my guests at check in, she very kindly gave them a lift back up the road to my wedding. Wendy and her mother were so helpful and made the whole booking a joy. This house and location are amazing. The whole experience wonderful (1st time with Airbnb) . House was spotless and Shayne a very responsive host answering any questions we had. Would totally recommend if you’re looking for some peace and quiet with great views but also with a great restaurant/bar/coffee shop within walking distance.

This is the loveliest place to stay, even nicer than the pictures. Jenny and her family couldn’t have been more friendly and welcoming and the gardens are outstanding and peaceful. lovely having the wood burner and the place was always warm and cozy. Kitchen fitted out with everything you need and a really great place to stay for a weekend and Jenny kindly supplied homemade marmalade butter bread and OJ. Many great restaurants and cafés within five minutes.
