One mile off the popular NC500 tourist route, our two pods and a Shepherd's Hut offer peace and quiet in an idyllic location with some amazing sunrises, sunsets and starry skies.

Offering WiFi, television, and off-road parking for one car. Also, with the new addition of a woodburning stove, you will certainly not be cold! Ideally situated for exploring the north of Sutherland and Caithness, this area is popular for walking, fishing, surfing, golfing and has one of the most beautiful beaches in the area!

Welcome to a unique and interesting stay for your trip to the Highlands. Unlike most glamping pods, Koya has plug sockets, a real bed with bedding, and a deck area you can sit out on and enjoy the stars. There is a fully equipped communal area with a hot shower, toilet, kitchen facilities and all you need to cook a meal, there's also a fridge and freezer. the kitchen has a microwave, oven, toaster, kettle and hob. Outside is a fire pit, BBQ, coffee machine, & pool table.

Hillside Camping Pods - Morven Pod NC500

Morven Pod is situated next to Stroma Pod in the rural village of Auckengill in Caithness, five miles south of John O'Groats. Morven Pod has sea and countryside views. The shower block is just a few steps away and Morven Pod has it's own shower, toilet and sink within the block so no shared facilities! All bedding and towels are provided as well as complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, milk and breakfast cereals. One small or medium size dog is allowed. We do not have WiFi.

Fully equipped accommodation with two bedrooms (one double room, one twin room). Melvich is situated on the NC500 route and is ideally placed for exploring the local area. Local pub within walking distance serving evening meals. Booking is advised. Free Wifi available, however we cannot guarantee a reliable signal. Lovely beach nearby which is popular with surfers. Please note due to increased costs, guest now have to pay for the electric they use.
