Bluebird Cottage is A quiet little haven 8km from beautiful Westport town. Its Off the beaten track a little, if you like that sort of thing and the only sounds will be mother nature's animals and birds calling out to each other. It's only a 10min drive to Westport, 15 mins to Castlebar with an abundance of activates / shopping / dining and fun on the doorstep. This cabin has a hexagon shape with a square porch where the front door is. The Hexagon, as I call it, is situated on its own on land that is half orchard half woodland. On the morning sun side, where the door is, the decking leads to the little purpose built bathroom building. There is a perspex canopy so you can walk over staying dry even if it is raining. A few goats and a few hens roam in the adjoining field.
