Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Alachua

We were looking for a place to stay within 30 minutes to UF so we could attend our daughter’s graduation ceremonies. We were pleased with the location, home, and price point. It’s also minutes away from Lake Orange if you’re looking for a place to stay with adequate room to park a boat/trailer and truck. We’d stay again.

Great location as we stayed with my family during our road trip. It was close to I-75 and had quite neighborhood and lots of amenities in the apartment for quick start of the day.

5 Stars - Exceptional Host! I’ve stayed at several Airbnbs, but Lisa was by far the best host I’ve ever had. She was incredibly communicative and responsive, which was especially important during our stay. The place was perfect for our needs—very clean and well-maintained. What stood out most was how thoughtful and accommodating Lisa was. My wife was scheduled to be induced at the hospital nearby, but when our plans were unexpectedly delayed, Lisa went above and beyond to ensure my family and I had a place to stay. She was so understanding and made everything stress-free for us. As a sweet gesture, she even got my little one a new toy and something special for our newborn daughter. That level of kindness was deeply appreciated. I highly recommend any Airbnb managed by Lisa. She made our experience memorable and stress-free, and I’ll definitely return if I ever need a place again.

Randy was an awesome host, and an exemplary example of true hospitality. After checkout, we unexpectedly needed to stay another night in the area. we assumed we wouldn’t be able to rebook with Randy after just checking out the same day but, after reaching out, he quickly replied and let us come right back for the night.  He was extremely communicative throughout our entire stay. We accidentally left a few belongings behind which Randy promptly offered to ship out to us. Randy’s daughter was very kind and, had she not offered us a hand when looking for the light switch to the grill area, we never would’ve known she was there. The home is beautifully situated on a private and peaceful lot in the country, but close to local Springs and restaurants. We felt right at home and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend Randy’s home to anyone looking to stay in the area, and definitely plan to stay again in the future. Thank you!

Our second visit did not disappoint. Saw lots of deer, fish, a few small gators. Enjoyed the games at the house on a rainy day. Michelle and Jeff helped shuttle kayaks and our group up river and saved us money on renting a service. Everything at the house was comfortable and our family had a great time.

This place was magical. A group of 8 of us came together for my 30th birthday and had an absolute blast. The river was gorgeous and we enjoyed hanging on the dock, kayaking and having fires in the fire pit at night. Absolutely beautiful place close to the springs for our Ichetucknee adventure, with plenty of good spots to eat and drink in town. We cooked a couple big meals here and had no issues with anything in the kitchen. Ample seating and space! I recommend bringing your own ice and water, but other than that, everything we needed was available in the house itself! We will remember this trip for years to come and hope to be back soon! Can’t say enough about the peace you find at Blessed Acres. Whether you looking for an entertainment venue or just some simple R & R, you’ll find it here. The host truly goes the extra mile for her guests. I highly recommend a stay at Blessed Acres.

Unfortunately we’re only there for a short time since we were just in town for a UF tour, but all went well place was great.

Beautiful location with easy access to the local springs and University of Florida

Very cute little home. Loved the little dog bowls for your pup! We split this with another family during a baseball tournament we had in newberry and we walked into cold waters in the fridge and snacks on the counter! The kids lived that. Loved that there were a ton of extra sleeping blankets and cots! The area had everything around as well!

This is a nice condo in a very quiet and peaceful area. Several restaurants and a coffee shop within walking distance. Other restaurants within a short drive. Grocery stores nearby as well. We attended UF graduation and although this condo was a few miles longer drive than something closer to campus, it is well worth it. Haile Village is a nice area in Gainesville. We highly recommend renting this condo.

We enjoyed feeding the animals. We brought apples and carrots for them. The baby goats are adorable, and Highland cows and donkeys and ponies! We rented a slip for our bass boat at Sportsmans Cove nearby. The fishing was not very good maybe due to time of year, but we caught a few small bass. The hydrilla is thick throughout Orange Lake. The Airbnb had a comfortable bed. We requested an additional portable heater because the one heater wasn't enough for both rooms, and it was immediately provided. . The induction stove has only one burner, but there is also a crock pot and an air fryer and outdoor grill. As other reviews stated, the dogs do bark in the mornings at times, and roosters crow very early. We used ear plugs at night which helped us to sleep. Don't miss the huge old Live Oak in their front yard that's hundreds of years old!

Gorgeous house and amazing host. Tomy is very responsive and welcoming. The house is beautiful, cared for and very comfortable. Located in a quiet upscale, beautiful neighborhood, house has stunning backyard with covered pool area. It definitely has WOW effect. We stayed only one night, but felt like home. Thank you!

Needed somewhere to stay for the night while working in Gainesville. Saw this clean spacious town home. It was perfect for my son and I . The bedrooms are upstairs and not next to each other but acroos from each other , giving guests complete privacy. Highly recommend Yennis place to anyone wanting a quiet peaceful night sleep. 10 ⭐️.

My husband and I so enjoyed our stay. We were looking for somewhere to unwind for a couple of days. The condo was perfect and we took advantage of the lovely weather and used the pool. Thank you Steven. We would certainly recommend your ab&b ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolutely amazing stay! The house is beautiful and stocked with everything you could think of. Bonus points for so many extra towels and linens. If you’re visiting Ginnie Springs you won’t find a better location. It’s close by and easy to get to and there are plenty of cute, local restaurants and shops near by. Communication with the host was spectacular! Super responsive. Would definitely stay here again!

Kimberly was very kind and responsive. Her place worked great for my work crew for the week. Would absolutely book this place again. Make sure to check out Ichetucknee springs while in the area you won’t be disappointed! Also XAPA has some of the best coffee I’ve ever had.

Beautifully kept vintage cottage with original wooden floors from the 1940’s very comfortable and warm atmosphere Located close to downtown and campus I also enjoyed having my dog with me and we walked the neighborhood every day. Ananda is very friendly and responsive to all communications.

I cannot say enough about how amazing this place is! This is our second time back and this time for my birthday. From the comfort of the RV to the personal attention they give you to the peaceful feel when you pull in the driveway…u cannot go wrong with renting this adorable space!!! We walked their nature trail this time and it was beautiful, picturing a beautiful little deer while on the walk. Then later GETTING TO MEET THAT PRECIOUS DEER, her name is Miss Zoey, and then getting to feed her and pet her…omg ya’ll, dream birthday! Christie and Carlos are the absolute BEST hosts, so sweet and personal and always going the extra mile to make it a great experience! We will DEF be back and we will ALWAYS recommend this place!!!

I had a wonderful stay! The place was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and very well-located. The host was incredibly kind, responsive, and made sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. Kim’s cabin in the woods Meant to Be was a wonderful retreat! It was so cozy and welcoming! We loved the high ceilings and spacious living area. We had everything we needed - plenty of towels and blankets, a very comfortable king bed, lots of hot water and cool air conditioning! We brought our jet ski and appreciated using the private boat ramp in the community. We had not been to this area before and loved exploring the rivers and springs which are so beautiful! We had an amazing time and hope to come back again!
