“Thank you so much Gail’s lovely cottage was very cosy & you she was a wonderful host. Lots of little extra touches, homemade biscuits, milk, butter etc & going the extra mile when our little lady was unwell. Very much appreciated. The place is very well looked after & really clean. Lots of toys & books on hand & ideal for our kiddies 6 & 10. Gail has lots of suggestions for places to eat & tang up to see availability before our arrival & also suggested lovely nearby beaches. We also left a very special bunny behind & she kindly put it in the post! She is an excellent host, very warm & welcoming & I would certainly recommend! Many thanks Gail! Much appreciated Paula”

“Really enjoyed our stay at The Bothy for a relaxing time after Christmas. The cottage is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean throughout. Our hosts were extremely polite and available for anything we needed. Mark provided numerous recommendations for local walks and places to eat. The Fish Basket is great for a spot of lunch and DeBarras Pub for a well deserved pint of two! We would highly recommend staying at The Bothy and were thankful for our hosts generosity in providing wood for the stove when needed.”
This unique tiny house is an inviting & creative space, located along the Wild Atlantic Way - exactly 1/2 way between the 2017 Urbanism award winning town of Clonakilty and the renowned beach Inchydoney which is known for being one of the most beautiful and relaxing beaches in West Cork. Built using native Douglas fir & surrounded by trees, the cabin is located on the grounds of a small residential home where guests will have their own separate outdoor decking and privacy.
“We loved our stay at the cabin. The location is perfect, very close to town while also feeling nicely tucked away. Tara and Peter were there to meet our needs and it was lovely to arrive to a cosy lit fire. Would definitely recommend to friends travelling through the area.”
