Parking and easy access on the level make it suitable for those who may find steps a problem. We are a 10 minute walk from Aberfeldy and likewise to the local bar/restaurant. Dog friendly there are many walks to explore right on your doorstep. We live next door and are always available for info.

The bothy is part of an old stone building, it's compact, cosy and recently renovated. Nestled in riperian woodland by Cochill burn, it offers a rural setting with ample oppurtunity for spotting our resident red squirrels. It sits close to our house, but with it's own access and small garden. It is centrally placed to access Perthshire and it's many oppurtunities for outdoor activities, between the attractive historic town of Dunkeld and market town of Aberfeldy both at 8 miles away.

The Byre offers quiet, comfortable and character-full accommodation minutes away from the centre of the historical town of Aberfeldy. The former cow byre at 19A has been converted into a two story semi-detached house with two bedrooms and a newly refurbished bathroom upstairs and open plan kitchen, dining area and sitting room downstairs, plus a small porch. The Bothy is a self-contained wooden cabin on the edge of our own woodland at West Cottage and Stables, nestling in the heart of Glen Lyon and at the beginning of many excellent walks and cycle rides. There's a double bed, extra bed, luxury bathroom, and wood burning stove. There's a hob, fridge, and everything you need to cook with, but no oven. We can put something in the oven for you up at the house if you need us to.

Delightful chalet overlooking Strathtay

We look forward to sharing our lovely chalet with you. If the weather is fine you will wake up to fabulous views across the valley. There are several good walks right from the chalet, and once down the track the possibilities for walks or spectacular places to visit are endless. The track is about 2 miles long and all uphill. All types of family car can make the drive with care. Not suitable for motorbikes or EV's.
