A 40 year celebration of being married. It was the perfect place for us to relax and enjoy our time together. Many highlights the hot tub view the peacock and peahen dance every night... The night flyover from the herons. Martyn was a perfect host very helpful. Perfect memories thank you.

A great getaway with loads to do close by for whatever mood you're in - great towns and cities like Calendar and Stirling less than half an hour away, equally beautiful countryside and multiple waterfalls, lochs and walks to choose from on the doorstep. Our toddler loved the on site swimming pool and the grown ups enjoyed the peaceful views from the hot tub too! Rosie was so friendly and accommodating.

Fantastic 3 day stay for my mother-in-law's 70th birthday. The cottage was perfect and we chose it specially so we could get to Edinburgb and Glasgow during our stay. Would definitely book again. Great value for money.

Very well designed cottage making the best possible use of quite a small space - with both a shower room and bathroom , utility room as well as kitchen/living space and the patio with hot tub. Although near to the High Street with a range of takeaways and a superb butcher (Hunters) the cottage is in a very quiet street. The nearby Curate Wynd free car park was very handy and we could unload from there. Although Dawn and Darren were away Dawn was on hand to answer any queries. We had a great three day break - spending the days at the RSPB Nature Reserve in stunning weather. We ate out one night at the Balgedie Toll Tavern - highly recommended for great food and very good service.

Drovers Cottage is absolutely 100% our favourite place we've stayed! Unanimously voted by 2 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 very happy hounds! Kylie is a wonderful host, she went above and beyond to make our arrival at the cottage to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary really special. The cottage is comfortable, cosy and the décor is fabulous and there are little eco touches everywhere - the setting is incredibly pretty - even when the mists came in and the hills disappeared, and of course, there's the hot tub!!! We'd highly recommend this Scottish hideaway.

We rented Ladywell Lodge with the Doocot for a large family holiday. Though the cottage is up in the hills, it was very quick to get to major routes. The lodge was perfect for the two couples who stayed there. It is tucked away in its own large outdoor space with woods and hill walks just moments away. It was comfortable and clean with everything as described. The kitchen was well laid out and the sitting room really cosy. The hosts were great too - Sandra is really responsive and we found the flexible check in really good. It was perfect for our family and being able to pair renting this with the Doocot meant we had a brilliant space for lots of people to stay. My husband and I would love to go back and would happily rent the lodge again as it was so comfortable in a beautiful setting. Highly recommend.

What an incredible getaway from the world! Very idyllic, country living. The home felt super cosy and homely. Eggs from the chickens and marmalade in the kitchen waiting for our arrival was a lovely touch! Beds were all very comfortable and we all had great night sleep each night. We had a fantastic stay here! The cottage is lovely and immaculate! Rhona was really proactive with communication and gave us great recommendations for nearby restaurants and cafes. The location is beautiful! Just a few steps to a lovely and peaceful beach and 10 minutes walk into town. We hope to be back!

We had a lovely stay at Penny Cottage in the quaint village of Ceres. It was cosy, warm and comfortable for the three of us. It was a perfect location for visiting the whole of the area and was in easy reach of main facilities at Cupar and St Andrews. Would definitely recommend and stay again if in the area :-)

Very peaceful location in the country but close enough to Saline and Dunfermline for anything you might need.

Beautifully quaint bolthole! The Cupboard is a utterly lovely place in Elie, literal stonesthrow from the beach, where our dog and us had a magical time. Tiny but expertly laid out, and efficiently uses the space so you feel super at home. We love it and will defo be back

Duncan was such a kind and friendly host, really active in communicating with us, and gave us loads of insight and suggestions for the area and our stay. It was lovely chatting with him. The views around are lovely and the property was well stocked, clean, and easy to find. We would definitely come back agaih!

Lovely cottage and surroundings. Homemade bread on arrival was a nice touch. Read in earlier reviews about deer on the lawn. It's true! Would highly recommend.

Ellen had great communication and made sure that everything was in place for our trip as we were catering a Christmas dinner cooked by chef. The ample furniture was such a bonus and it was very comfortable. The location is stunning so much so that whilst on my stay there I decided to put in an offer on a property around the corner to live out my retirement there!!!!! From the moment I booked, Angela and Hugh have been proactively making extra effort to make sure our stay is comfortable. The directions to the property were to the point and Hugh walked us through the property and made sure we had everything we needed. It was very peaceful and beautiful..much more than the pictures. The surroundings were beautiful. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could need. The sun room was the best to sit and enjoy the green surroundings without getting cold, kids enjoyed the board games and movies on TV. It was a memorable stay, would love to visit again.
