“Grace is a wonderful host. Our flight was delayed by eight hours and we eventually arrived at TWO in the morning to find Grace waiting up for us - what a host! Her home is lovely - sparkling clean,. a comfy bed and nice breakfast to set us on our way. Grace rescued our trip.”
Things have changed as we know it, so if you've felt cooped up for the last few months, relax & unwind with walks by the sea, take in the beauty of Connemara and the Aran Islands. The 9 hole golf course/club is on our doorstep and the Hooker Bar is a 5 min drive with live music most weekends. Our local shop is 5 mins by car, cafes/restaurants are approx 5 miles away. Rosaveal is a 15 min drive for the ferry to the Aran Islands. We have heritage centres galore and a seaweed centre/cafe.
“We can’t recommend Carmel’s place more highly! Charming hosts, sparkling clean home and lovely breakfast with bread homemade by Carmel’s mother in law. The bedding and mattresses were superb- we slept like babies! Carmel suggested a day drive for us and it was stunning - truly, the scenery is unrivaled. Our stop at Kylemore Abbey with its walled garden was a highlight. We will definitely be back!”
Welcome to Foxglove Homestead. We offer an exciting form of accommodation. Here you'll stay in a Tiny House in the beautiful heart of Connemara, County Galway. Do you enjoy a different way of holidaying? Do you like to be immersed in the Irish wilderness with no other sounds than grazing sheep, a bee flying by or some playing children in the background? Then our Tiny House might be for you. It offers a comfortable place to stay with the best views in Connemara.
“Anne's place was amazing - wish we could have stayed longer. The tiny house has everything you could possibly need and gorgeous touches like fresh eggs and bread (delicious!). We stayed over New Years and were expecting it to be cold, but there's a really efficient heater and super cosy bed, and if you bring slippers or thick socks you'll be toasty. The scenery is amazing and we loved how quiet it was - the bench and swing outside are perfect to sit on in the morning with a cup of coffee and take in the view. Absolutely perfect stay if you want to get away from it all. Thank you so much Anne!”
