After living in many different places, I understand how important and difficult it is to find a nice, clean, Simple luxury and comfort to relax, rather than spending the entire holiday crammed into a small space. No matter what weather or we don't want to go out, we still can enjoy view even if we sit in the house. So we decided to build Ardtreck. After exploring and observing all aspects of Skye, we were fortunate to discover a unique location for it. The main characteristics of Ardtreck are：

Red Mountain Garden Cottage (Self Catering)

Sorry - Children over 10 only. Red Mountain Cottage is beautifully and quietly situated on the edge of Carbost village, with stunning views overlooking Loch Harport and towards the Cuillin Mountains. This is a small, modern, but very well appointed cottage/cabin has been lovingly created to a high specification, including handmade beds and sills & a feature wall. The cottage sleeps 3, but is ideal for couples seeking a romantic break, as well as for sight-seeing, walking and climbing.

Skye Red Fox Retreat - stunning luxury glamping

The Red Fox Retreat is the ultimate luxury glamping getaway location. A twist on the more conventional ‘pod’, the cabin features a curved wood interior entered from an arched doorway in front of which is situated a perfectly appointed king sized bed with amazing views of the Trottenish Ridge and the croft (farmland) that surrounds the property. It is warm and cosy to protect against the elements and yet light and airy. The cabin is accessed via a spectacular large undercover deck area.

Gate Lodge on Conservation Farm Isle of Skye

Opened in January 2020, the Gate Lodge is a charming octagon with plenty of original character. Warm and well-equipped, it has been completely renovated and sits within the grounds of a working conservation farm. Strictly No Smoking. Only a ten minute walk from Loch Bay Restaurant, the Stein Inn, Skyeskyns and Diver's Eye, the lodge is surrounded by nature and wildlife with stunning views. It offers the perfect, peaceful break. EV Charger also available! Guests can take advantage of an open-plan kitchen, dining and living areas, and a comfortable Main Bedroom. The upstairs open mezzanine has two single beds. A second full bathroom can also be found within the property.
