The Bothy is a wonderful place for both r&r and as a base to explore the wilds of Scotland. It’s incredibly peaceful, cosy, and well located. There are plenty of walks that leave from the front door, as well as some beautiful longer walks a short car ride or cycle away. Susannah was a wonderful host and kept in touch which was much appreciated. Definitely stay here if you can!

We had a fabulous stay at the Old Mill. The property is beautiful, very well decorated and highly maintained. It’s a very private and peaceful location, just what we were looking for. We got lucky with 5 days of sunshine which made it even better but even if it was typical Scottish weather we would still have had an amazing stay. All 3 rooms are spacious with beautiful bathrooms. The beds are very comfortable with great linen and you can’t fault the place. Claire was very helpful and quick to answer any questions. I’d highly recommend this property

Beautiful and well appointed cottage in a very quiet location, the perfect place to unwind! Expertly hosted by Catherine from the provision of detailed instructions on finding ‘Roughstones’ to personal touches of a hand written welcome note not to mention the home baking!! This is a real gem that offers rural tranquility whist the towns of Dunkeld and Blairgowrie are only 10 mins by car. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Roughstones or stay again in the future.
