Please note the Grounds and external outdoor perimeter of The Barn is protected by CCTV TK Alarm Company. Please know this is a simple place. It once was out buildings, however you will find it warm and homely.

Located near the sleepy village of Kilmessan, 1.5km from Station House Hotel, 6km’s from the ancient Hill of Tara, a 45-minute drive from Dublin.

Located in a quiet neighbourhood, with uninterupted view from the bedroom to the world famous Hill of Tara , 3km walking distance from the property. In the opposite direction Bective Abbey is only 6km from the property. Other local attractions include: Royal Tara Golf Club 300metres, Bar and Restaurant open to non members and green fees always welcome. Trim Castle 14km, Newgrange 26km. A car is recommended due to our location.

The Clinic

Set in the heart of the heritage laden town of Trim and boasting a bird's eye view of the historic Yellow Steeple, "the Clinic" is ideally located and central to all of Trim's many amenities. The 12th century Trim Castle, on the banks of the Boyne, is a 3 minute walk away, and the Yellow Steeple even closer. The award winning "James Griffin" pub is literally across the road and the property is also adjacent to banks, convenience stores, restaurants/takeaways and many other retail services.

Drummond Tower / Castle

Victoria Drummond Tower was built as a Folly Tower in the victorian period in 1858 by William Drummond Delap as part of Monasterboice House & Demesne. The tower is regarded as a folly tower built in remembrance of his late mother. Recently restored into a small habitable dwelling and is now available for rental for selected months of the year. A very unique and enjoyable place to stay with a vast range of local & historical amenities at your disposal.

I would highly recommend having a car to get to the property, but there is a local taxi service available from Trim also. Private entrance to the apartment.
