Vacation rentals with lake access in Central Illinois

We absolutely loved staying here! The hosts live on site, but separately from the airbnb, and they definitely gave us privacy! We were able to communicate with them quickly about how to use the heated pool and customize the hot tub to our preferred settings :) We utilized the fire pit and made s’more’s with a kit they provided, which was awesome!! Clean-up was just place your trash in the breezeway and clean your dishes - nothing excessive. Overall 10/10 visit and definitely recommend!!

This house was perfect for our girls’ weekend. Plenty of comfortable spaces to hang out both inside and outside. Comfy beds. Overall very peaceful, which is exactly what we needed!

We were in town for a few days for some high school baseball games and to visit ISU and Bradley. Even though we were gone most of the day, it was SO nice coming back to Annabelle's in the evenings to unwind and relax. It's a beautiful cottage on the water that was clean, roomy, and full of amenities. Annabelle was friendly and accommodating even though nothing went wrong and everything in the cottage was better than described. The area was quiet and the view was INCREDIBLE. Even saw a bald and golden eagle outside in the early morning hours (and found binoculars too).

Our stay was absolutely amazing. Photos do not do this place justice its absolutely beautiful. Additionally, this was a fully stocked kitchen trashbags, paper towels and coffee it was so nice not having to run to the store immediately. The layout is awesome and the lake view is gorgeous. Will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend.

Very Beautiful Home with a fantastic View. A peaceful and tranquil spot that my partner and I enjoyed. Host was responsive and really helpful. Would definitely recommend for any who is looking for quiete get away. Will a book Again in The Future.👍🏽

What a wonderful time at the Nest. We were there for a family funeral, and the Nest made a perfect place for the out of town relatives to gather and spend time together. It was a lovely October weekend, with wonderful weather that allowed us to enjoy the outdoors [kids loved the beach!]. We were able to enjoy family meals and enough space in the thoughtfully designed home to spread out. Thank you. We will be back I am sure, as we are always trying to gather the family in that area. My sincere thanks for taking in our family during this difficult time.

The pictures did not do this place justice. It was beyond expectations and such a perfect spot to stay. We only wish we would have had more time to explore around the house and area. Our grandchildren loved their first experience seeing and playing in the snow. The deck was perfect and even provided some me toys for them to play with outside. Thank you truly for sharing your home!!

We enjoyed the hot tub and the view, especially for the sunrises. The decor was amazing and the house had everything we needed!

Easy on and off the highway. This is my second stay. This is a lovely, very homey unit. They even left me FRESH farm eggs. It's on a large piece of property and the deck offers amazing views of the cornfields. And the sunrise was beautiful. Very walk-able, safe location. Spic and span clean. Quiet.And these folks are just the nicest people....

Heidi was there to greet me and was finishing tidying up when I arrived earlier than planned. She gave me a tour and even showed one of the other apartments that was not already booked for the night mage takes great pride in the wonderful transformation of her home into a great guest house. I love all the little touches around the rooms to make a person feel right at home! I’ll definitely be back next time I pass through Hannibal.

Wonderful location outside of Terre Haute. Roomy place for 5 people. We all enjoyed fishing in the lovely pond and playing pool in the large living area. The deck was enjoyable with the fire pit and a grill. We will definitely try to return next year.

Great place for a stay Unit C. Just two of us and everything we needed was supplied and had a complete kitchen set up. Would def recommend and stay in Unit C again

Loved this little place. The washer and dryer saved us on our cross country travels and the place was so clean and amazing. Slept great on the comfy bed

Great place to stay. Quiet,well taken care of home. lots of space. Everything you need for a nice vacation, will stay again when daughter and grandson are on vacation . They are from Florida and loved seeing the sun sets.

Tony was a great host! He was very kind and communicated clearly about everything. He was very flexible with check in times. We will be looking into staying again!

This was the second time I stayed at JJ and Sheris house and everything was great again ……Sheri even stopped by to drop off coffee milk and some snacks , so kind thank you. We will be back

i loved this place. my australian terrier, mackay, and i stayed for 5 nights. there was a carport, which provided a great place to attach the cable i used to tie out mackay. although it rained a lot, i was able to soak in the wonderful hot tub between showers. the home was very comfortable. i especially enjoyed the enclosed porch where is set up my laptop, and watched birds on the lake. a great blue heron (i think) visited twice while i was watching the lake was also visited by a swan (also, i think). at first i wasn't sure if it was a swan or goose, but decided it was a swan because the neck was real long. wish i would have remembered a bird book and binoculars! thanks, kim and tony

Had such a great weekend with my friend, we watched movies in the beautiful living room and got to enjoy the beautiful view outside when it wasn’t pouring out. The home was very clean and provided everything we needed to enjoy our stay. I would definitely stay here again!

My honey and I are at a loss for words! The 🍯 🐝 cottage was exceptionally perfect for our anniversary celebration. Not only did we reconnect as a couple, we reconnected with our higher power. This sanctuary provided the most beautiful landscape. From the moment that we walked into the cottage, we felt SO LOVED. Although Kacey and Stephanie were complete strangers, we leave with a heart of gratefulness. Every well thought of detail, the cleanliness of the space and words shared with our hosts made the stay one to remember.
