Monthly Rentals in Coaltown of Wemyss

We stayed at this idyllic cottage for four nights. It is very well equipped, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The host has considered every need. The cottage is in an excellent location with great beaches, woodland walks, and St Andrews, all on the doorstep and within easy access. We have stayed in self- catering accommodation in Fife on previous occasions, but this one was by far the best for location and comfort. The only things we feel could improve this cottage would be facilities outside to clean dogs and a few more coathangers. We would love to stay here again.

What can I say, we found a gem and that was Matt! He is the perfect host, wonderful warm welcome, nothing was too much trouble, he is passionate about where he lives and local knowledge is perfect for those who are new to the area. His accommodation is stunning, his passion for renovating the property to be as authentic as possible shines through, it was beautiful. The garden is just stunning! The accommodation is near all the amenities, beautiful park nearby, quiet and extremely comfortable. I can highly recommend staying and we will definitely return!

We had a wonderful weekend at The House in the Wall, we couldn’t have asked for a more welcoming host. The House is stunning, a real joy to stay in. Ali’s finishing touches were 2nd to none.

This place is exactly as described. Quaint and cozy with everything we needed! Close to beautiful walking trails on the shore and Main Street shopping and pubs. Jennifer was easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.
