Vacation rentals with a firepit in Durham County

My family of 9 stayed at Gayathri’s place. It was beautiful inside and out. Having a parking place for two cars at the side of the house was a bonus. We did not have to worry about street parking. The location was good. It was close to the airport, the wedding we went to, friends we visited, and attractions. Gayathri left snacks and breakfast items for us in case we were unable to make it to the store when we arrived, which was very nice. She responded quickly to any inquiries. We had a wonderful time and would stay there again.

We had a fantastic stay! The check-in process was incredibly easy and clearly explained, which made arrival smooth and stress-free. The home was spotless upon arrival and had plenty of space—perfect for our larger group. Everything felt updated and well-maintained, with modern appliances that made cooking and relaxing a breeze. We especially loved spending time on both the front and back porches—they were great spaces to hang out. Communication with the host was excellent; they were quick to respond to any questions and even went out of their way to send over laundry detergent when we ran out. Highly recommend this place and would absolutely stay again. Thank you!

Beautiful, clean home in a convenient location! We stayed with our toddler while visiting friends and family and had plenty of space to spread out. The house had everything we needed for a week long trip and was very comfortable. Highly recommend for a stay in the Durham area!

Ting's home was everything my family needed. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook for a big family. Everyone was confortable and felt at home. There is something for everyone, it's truly a beautiful home with great energy. We hope to stay again on our next visit!

The house lived larger than its size would indicate. Enjoyed the original art work and colorful paint scheme. Screened porch was pleasant and breezy. Fenced yard was great for our dog! Nice bedrooms. Very clean and well appointed. An easy walk to Beaver Marsh Preserve, King’s Red & White grocery, and our son & daughter-in-law’s house. Stayed for two weeks. Would definitely return!

this place was perfect! easy access to the highway, but quiet enough not to realize. nice quaint neighborhood. I love how stocmed the place was with the little things you end up needing (spices, tin foil, soap and body wash). Will definitely stay again if I'm in the area!!

This home was everything described on Airbnb. It is great for families with young kids. My boys enjoyed the media room and had their own space upstairs with arcade games they loved. Backyard is huge and open. It is not a fenced yard but still a lot of privacy. I will definitely book again.

Our family of seven (five adults and two kids) stayed here for a long weekend and it suited all of our needs perfectly. Very close to Durham where we visited with family. The kids loved the games in the basement and the tree swing. The rooms and beds were clean and comfortable and the space was easy to maneuver for our aging parents. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property for other families! Thank you for an amazing stay!

Had a great stay at this apartment in Morrisville, NC. Mohmeet was an excellent host super communicative and gave great local recommendations. The place was clean, cozy, and in a convenient location close to everything we needed. Easy to get around and felt right at home. Would definitely stay here again!

I had an amazing time here with my partner. The suite was clean and really made you feel like you’re in a home away from home. The hot tub and pool were our favorite aspect of the accommodation. Angela is a super thoughtful, amicable, and informative host.

Wonderful!! I couldn’t have been happier with our stay at Erin’s place. It was so cute and comfortable and nicely decorated with so many thoughtful touches! She keeps a whole game closet full of games, bookshelves with great books, beautiful wooden children’s toys. Comfy beds, extra linens and blankets, a really well-stocked kitchen - absolutely everything we could have wanted or needed. In addition, it was a stylish - Erin has great taste in art and furnishings. The bunnies we could see from the kitchen window were a thrill. They were so fun to watch frolicking! Erin was friendly and kind and thoughtful. I would 100% stay here again and recommend it for anyone looking to visit the TRIANGLE/ Durham.

This house was exactly as pictured with good space for four of us to all have our own room. It was well equipped with supplies and Mary/Joe were very responsive and helpful.

We can't decide which was better, the apartment or the hosts. We had a wonderful stay. The apartment is meticulously cared for and is even better than it appears in the photos. We stayed for a month, so we had the pleasure of spending some time with Kurt and Carol. They are gracious hosts and very accomodating - the nicest folks you will find anywhere. If you have a chance to stay here, do not pass it up. Thanks again for your kindness and hospitality.

This was not my first stay at the Scout House, and it will not be my last. Everything about it is perfection - from the location, to the property, to the sensational hosts (Marie & BJ). My stay was delightful in every way and I cannot wait to return!

My family and I love this place. This was our second time booking. The scenery and privacy is amazing. Perfect location for us to stay close to family who live in the area. We will 100% be visiting again. Harriette makes everything simple for check-in and check-out. Highly recommended. Get the real feel of peace and tranquility in a cozy cabin while only being minutes from town. You will not be disappointed.

Daniel's cabin is a perfect get away. Walking distance to everything in Fearington Village and yet entirely removed from the world. The cabin is comfortable and the property is perfect for a relaxing weekend.

this place is awesome for fisherman looking to fish all the surrounding lakes then come back and fish the pond and hang out around the firepit with family and friends..the house and property are beautiful and comfortable

Though I live close by in Cary, I needed a quiet retreat to finish writing my book and Barbara's place was perfect! Thoughtful touches throughout the home, incredibly clean, the kitchen is stocked with everything you might need to cook as if you were at home, and Barbara's communication was exceptional. I highly recommend this place for everyone as it's great for solo travelers, couples, or families. Make sure you have a sit in the hanging chair in the living room - it's delightful :) Thanks, Barbara!

The backyard and pond are super nice. The cabin is well appointed and clean. There are several homes around so you get the remote experience without being alone. Cleaner was super nice and does a fantastic job!

Shane was an excellent host from beginning to end! The cabin is very private and peaceful with a great view of the lake and lots of amenities. I would definitely stay again.
