A unique coastal property where we enjoyed experiencing the wild landscape of west Ireland

had a really good time. salthill is right on the see so beautiful views and the view from the living room in the apartment is spectacular. lots of local pubs dotted around. the apartment was brilliant. 2 good sized bedrooms, one of them en suite. kitchen is a decent size and had everything you need to cook up some food. sitting room was lovely with two big recliner sofas and beautiful vistas. walkable into the city centre if you're a decent walker, it's about 2km and perfectly flat. if you're not or you're with someone who isn't a walker there is a bus just round the corner that takes about 5 mins and is fairly regular. car parking around the area is free but very busy so having a dedicated parking space was great.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. Lovely views and so peaceful. House was perfect for us - clean and well equipped. The area is so beautiful, with great walks and beaches nearby. Excellent food at Sweet Nothings and at local pubs. Michael was extremely friendly and helpful. Hope to be back.

The house is fabulous ❤️ Comfortably accomodates 8 people. On wild Atlantic way. 3 minute walk to Armada hotel & 5 minute walk tp Spanish point beach. 5 minute drive to local town of Miltown Malbay. Great local cliff walks at other beaches too, White Strand & Quilty, both within 10 minute drive. Great restaurants nearby. Ivan is very friendly. Plenty of towels there & washing machine too - not mentioned on description I dont think. Highly recommend this gem!

Our stay was picturesque, and everything we could have hoped for. The homes spacious rooms and many windows made it sinfully easy to sit and spend hours sipping coffee and watching the water and scenery. None of us were prepared to leave when our reservation was over, and I certainly left a piece of my heart among the greenery. T was responsive and helpful, and their recommendations for local experiences were invaluable.

Ed was a most gracious host. Offered recommendations in the area and very quick to respond to any questions. Would love to visit again someday

An idyllic camping spot - nice hiking and swimming in this area - located beside a lovely pub with great hospitality - overall a lovely experience

We really enjoyed the location and being able to walk to the beach as well as coffee shops/restaurants. The place was lovely and nice inside. Our internet wasn't working and wasn't able to be fixed in time for us before we left. All in all a great spot and would stay again.

Bernie's Rest is one of those rare finds that you hesitate to review—not because it doesn't deserve it, but because it so deserves it that you're tempted to keep it a secret. Inside, the home is perfect, a fully equipped kitchen, a fantastic shower, cozy and stylish living area with strong WiFi and a great TV, and the kind of bed that makes you want to sleep in, just a little bit longer. Beautiful Apartment close to the beach, very clean and comfortable

A Truly Exceptional Stay in Murrisk I can’t recommend this property highly enough! From the moment we arrived, it felt like a true home away from home. The host, Lorraine, was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful, going above and beyond to make our stay special. The house itself is beautifully presented, with luxurious bedding and towels, underfloor heating, squeaky clean and everything just right. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a delightful welcome package that included homemade scones and jam, a bottle of wine, water, and even milk—which I had forgotten to pick up at the shop. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare and so appreciated...as we're the sticks for climbing the reek! The location is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of Clew Bay. It’s peaceful, serene, and only a short distance from Westport. I’ve stayed in many Airbnbs over the years, but this one truly stands out for its warmth and exceptional hospitality of Lorraine. We loved our stay and will be back!

Barbara was a great host. The house was perfect come rain or shine. The Spar shop in Carraroe is only 5 minutes away and was as good as any medium sized supermarket with great choice. Don’t miss the Realt pub if you want a good pint of Guinness

Max and Beatrice have a beautiful cottage home. It was the perfect place for our family of 11 to be…ages 2-66. We truly made some incredible memories. Max had great recommendations for a cute restaurant down the road… We fell in love with everyone’s hospitality the country side!

We had a great stay in Berry Lodge. Perfect for a a large family gathering. So much space. Great to be able to bring the dog too. David was very helpful and responsive when needed. So close to the beach in Spanish point and a great location to explore Clare. Will be back again

We had a wonderful stay in the holiday apartment. Our flat was on the third floor so we had a good view of the tides and sun sets from our balcony. Checking in was smooth with the provided instructions. The apartment was well equipped. We never used the washing machine but we were grateful for the iron/ironing board and hair dryer. The rooms were more spacious than depicted and the bathrooms had fabulous lighting and showers. Everything was clean and fresh and I had no hesitation walking barefoot in the bathrooms. The beds were very comfortable and we were able to warm the apartment to counter the February chill. Great pubs and restaurants were a 5 minute walk away but a car helped when we visited Galway Shop Street area and explored the county. Parking at the apartment was convenient but there are not many spots and I’m sure it would fill during peak seasons. However, there’s a large car park a minute away. A fantastic, well maintained apartment. Recommended!

We were two families staying in the house and were very comfortable. The house is very spacious, very clean and beautifully decorated. Kinvara is a beautiful town and the nearby surroundings had so much to do! Traught beach was especially lovely where we went for a dip and a sauna. We recommend the place whole heartedly and hope to have the fortune to stay here again in the future!
