Our home (a working farm) and The Cottages at are nestled beneath Ireland's highest mountain, Carrauntoohil. We are situated on the famous Kerry Way walking route and in the heart of the Reeks District. The collection of houses were some of the last in Ireland to be connected to the electricity grid (in 1978) due to their isolated location in one of Ireland’s most unspoiled valleys on the edge of the Killarney National Park.
“The cottage, nestled under Carrauntoohil, was more than we expected. Ailish and her family have put lots of thought into creating a homely space with lots of cosy touches. We had everything we needed to cook and clean, along with lots of books to read and art supplies. Both nights we lit the fire with logs provided and chilled with some wine. Once familiar with the road the journey took approx 45 minutes to reach molls gap, however the last stretch of terrain before reaching the cottage is extremely rough- just to make anyone with a fancy car aware! I also wouldn’t recommend returning home in the dark, and we did one night in the lashing rain and it was quite frightening to say the least. We couldn’t of asked for a better host, and would love to return! All the best with the family’s future ventures with their business.”

“Thanks so much to Linda for our stay at Crones Cottage, it was perfect for our weekend break. We came with another couple & there was more than enough space for us. The view from the house is beautiful and the house has everything you need! 2 minutes away from the beach and close to Killorglin and Cahersiveen by car. The house heats up very quickly as well which is ideal after a day out and about. We would love to visit again!”
Cosy chalet with mountain views near the beach in Cromane, Kerry- perfect for those who want to get away from it all and relax.
“This cozy little home is the perfect little escape!! My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. After traveling through cities and spending a night in each, this was just the peaceful break we needed. The cabin is adorable, stylish, very clean. Anne left us snacks and coffee which was wonderful after a lot of traveling. The views surrounding this place are amazing. Mountains everywhere, only a few houses back from the beach which makes for a lovely walk. We ate at jacks restaurant one night and loved it there as well. While there we visited the ring of Kerry (one of the stops, killorglin, is very close by and this cabin is an easy starting point for the trip), and spent a day at Killarney national park as well- which was 30 minutes away. Couldn’t have asked for better, would definitely recommend!”
