Perfect place for a quiet peaceful retreat. Maggi made us feel very welcome and was really helpful during a storm related power outage with hot water for drinks. The hut is small but very efficiently kitted out with all the essentials. Amazing pillows and a very warm cozy duvet make this place perfect even during colder nights. The chickens on site also supply the best eggs for all your eggy needs during your stay. The two large hounds are also very friendly and always asking for a little cuddle. The hut is quite remote and off the track but Maggi’s instructions made it very clear how to find it.

The view is very very beautiful🥰 and it's a nice little house. The bathroom and kitchen are both very convenient to use. The landlord has also prepared some board games in the room, which is very interesting. There is a bus stop right outside the door. The bus schedule is not very frequent but if you calculate the time well and travel accordingly, it's still possible (if no car).

A beautiful place to stay in one of the most beautiful settings. Comfortable and cosy and easy to access the stunning surroundings!

Words cannot describe how amazing this place was! This was probably one of the best places we have ever stayed. The views were spectacular and we loved the privacy and being away from all the crowds in Portree. Watching the goats from the deck every morning and evening was so fun. Stargazing from the deck was also a highlight. The location was fantastic and served as a great home base for exploring Skye. Kristie and Gordie also had welcome snacks and food for us which was so thoughtful. Highly recommend booking here!
