This modern, luxurious cottage is truly special. It is located in the Tawnawully mountains by Lough Eske. It is set on 12 acres with a river running through it and a tumbling waterfall right by the cottage. Only 15 minutes drive to Donegal town, which has some really nice restaurants and bars. There is a castle to explore in the town and a wonderful craft village with a very good cafe. Ten minutes drive to Harveys Point and twelve minutes from Lough Eske castle, both reputable 5 * hotels.

Hannahs thatched cottage (pet friendly!) is one of the last remaining original thatched cottages in Inishowen. The cottage has recently and lovingly been restored to the highest standards. The first thing that any visitors say is ‘that’s someview’, hence we named it SomeView. Up to four guests plus a baby can relax in a beautiful scenic area. Standing 600 feet above sea level with approximately 20 Donegal mountains in view. We are set in a quiet country road with easy 10 minute access to City of Derry airport and the city centre. It’s also only a short distance to some of Walkni’s recommended short walks - Ness Park, Beechill Woodland, Muff Glen to name a few.
