“Mare's cottage was absolutely amazing. Set in a beautiful location, at the foot of the hills and near the sea. The perfect location for extended hikes along the coast and up and down the beautiful rugged hills of Beara. Just great to get away from it all. The cottage is very spacious, cozy and clean and Maree is just a wonderful host. We stayed for two weeks with our baby daughter and felt right at home. We were very sad to leave!”
This delightful, stone-built, detached cottage on the Beara Peninsula enjoys an elevated position overlooking the sea. Bright, light and airy throughout, a feeling accentuated by the French doors from the living area leading to the patio outside.
“Absolutely stunning!! From booking with sinead, to the end, I cannot fault the hospitality. The house, the surrounding area and the sheer loveliness of pat and his family. We absolutely Loved it here. Got to spend time in a stunning location with fantastic neighbours (pat even helped me look for my naughty dog who decided to go wandering at stupid o clock!!) thus family are one of the nicest families I have ever met and thus made the stay so much more enjoyable! 20 out of 20 for everything. We will 100% be back.! This place is a gem! And so is pat!”
Our house is a unique house overlooking Coulagh Bay, with stunning views to the sea. The garden is a lovely relaxing place as well as a great hide and seek venue, not on the road, but an easy 10 minute walk to the village, with a well stocked small supermarket, petrol, postoffice, bistro, tea room in season, 2 pubs. It is a cosy traditional house which is well equipped to accommodate families and young children. The beds are all very comfortable, some with views to the sea. Everyone loves it.
“If you're looking for an authentic stay on the Wild Atlantic coastline, look no further than Shore Cottage. Nestled on the sea coast in the village of Eyeries, it has everything you need for a self-catering holiday. Plus, the village is in walking distance for supplies, a play park, cafes/ pubs/ restaurants (highly recommend The Bistro) and the sea coast has nicely marked trails for walking or getting down to the ocean for a fresh dip in the sea. Bonnie and Rupert's place is a real family space with high chairs, toys and games, lots of places to curl up with a book and look out into the sea. We've visited twice and look forward to our next trip already.”
