Our cosy larch grass roofed cabin on the Ross of Mull is the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. With views across Staffa & the Treshnish Isles, you can watch the sun rise over Ben More and set over Lunga from the comfort of the sofa. For the ultimate tech detox, we’ve ditched the mod cons like TV, wifi and phone signal and replaced them with good old fashioned boardgames, a great stack of books and selection of old and new vinyl for the record player.
“Our stay in Fairwinds Cabin exceeded all expectations. It was truly magical! We had Storm Ciara and 70mph winds to contend with but nothing was going to stop us having a special weekend on the Isle of Mull. The welcome from Frank and support from Hannah and Sorren throughout the weekend ensured our time on Mull was worry free. The cabin itself totally suited our needs and who couldn’t fall in love with a log fire and a great record collection! We will definitely be back. Don’t hesitate... book your break away here. It is the business!”
Lovely 2 bedroom apartment with own entrance, situated about a mile from the village. Superb views towards the machair and the west. Only a 5 minute walk to Iona's 18 hole golf course & the Bay at the Back of the Ocean
“This was one of my favourite airbnb stays, Fiona and Jim showed incredible hospitality. The apartment is very clean and spacious, with extensive views over the West end of the island out to the Atlantic coast with everything you need for an inviting and comfortable, home away from home stay. This is an excellent location on the island with easy walking access and offering beautiful views out of every window. Jim kindly picked us up and took us back to the ferry to make arrival and departure seamless. We would definitely hope to return and thank the Hosts for a wonderful stay.”
This is a touring caravan like no other! During the summer of 2019 the van was completely stripped and re-built by Neil Harvey of Wild Campers Scotland. It sits in a croft field with stunning views of the ocean, of the magnificent Burg and of Ben More. The space is open plan with a king size bed and a wood burning stove. Designed to be comfortable for two, the space can accommodate four if necessary. It's a space made with old-school relaxation in mind — there's no internet and no TV.
“We had a great time staying in the caravan, which had everything we needed and lots of thoughtful touches. The hobbit stove was super efficient and warmed up the cabin nice and cosy on cold evenings. We especially loved waking up to stunning views, stargazing in the evenings and the quiet of the area. Neil was possibly the nicest Airbnb host we’ve had — a really kind and generous person with lots of local tips. We traveled by bus, and had no problems, the bus stop in Bunessan is only a 20min walk to the caravan, and a beautiful walk by the sea at that. We’d love to come back one day.”
