Monthly Rentals in Knocktopher

We spent a long weekend in Bernie’s celebrating a significant birthday. Three generations of family together & Bernie’s ticked all the boxes in terms of comfort & rest. Our granddaughter loved the outdoors, the treehouse, toasting marshmallows on the fire pit, the games room, the animals. We got a taxi to Killkenny for dinner one evening but otherwise self catered & the kitchen is very well equipped. And we had excellent pizzas done on the bbq. Windgap is a very peaceful rural area & perfect place to getaway. I would recommend it highly.

We had a lovely stay down at Rita and Sean’s place, the area is perfect - close to where you need to be in Kilkenny and very peaceful. The place is very modern and has everything you need especially in our case with a baby and dog - both Rita and Sean made themselves available if needed which always helps. Thanks again and hopefully see you again.

Great location and great place to stay, big enough but still very homely, only stayed for a late night and early morning so could not really appreciate what this lovely place had to offer but will definitely return. Had a lovely welcome at breakfast by 2 adorable and characterful dogs! They did each get a sausage!(sorry Louise) Thoroughly recommended 😊

stayed 5 nights in Esters cottage. loved the tranquillity and rural setting. walked up to the woods nearby and used the cottage as a base for various forays into the surrounding countryside to visit a stone circle, a waterfall, nearby towns with museums. this place is rustic and magical. the driveway is narrow and long. The surrounds are very peaceful. there is a fireplace as well as many mod cons such as WiFi. we absolutely loved everything about our stay. thank you Ester.
