Back for a second time. Great place for peace and quiet.

Noel welcomed us and kindly explained everything we needed. The house is very comfortable, nice, in a very central location and we had a great time. The music of the nearby shopping center feels very loud but starts after 8 and ends at 7:00 pm so it didn't bother us.

Alder Cabin provided a perfect mix of feeling surrounded by beautiful nature whilst also being located just outside of Kilkenny town. The cabin is cleverly designed so as to make you feel submersed in nature and providing a perfect refuge from city living. After some long walks in Kilkenny's woodland, we also enjoyed cosy evenings in with the option to have the stove burning. Donna was the perfect host having the cabin well equipped, fully stocked and very clean. We also found her to be very responsive and friendly throughout our stay. Therefore would highly recommend it as an ideal and relaxing place to stay.

We had a great stay here with our 18 month old daughter. The communication and check-in was easy and we were given plenty of local info on arrival which improved our holiday. The accommodation was ideal for a young child and had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend it for other parents with a toddler.
