“The thatched cottage was a lovely cosy getaway. The space is quaint and thoughtfully decorated, and the modern facilities like dishwasher and bathrooms made our stay very enjoyable. The bed was comfortable, and the fire kept us toasty. Sonia was reliable and our check in was smooth. The surrounding area was full of picturesque countryside walking trails. Would love to go back to unwind !”

“Spent a lovely weekend here, the house interior is delightful and finished to a tee with lots of nice character and cosyness. All house finishings are to a high standard and it's extremely comfortable. There's some lovely scenery surrounding the house and it's a great place for a quiet getaway and there is plenty of nice places for walks and exploring in walking/short driving distance. Joanne was very friendly and welcoming and always available should the need arise. Would highly recommend.”

“My husband and I stayed at Andrew's place in the middle of March. We spent the week there and loved it. It is out of town, but never seemed to far away. We liked the idea of having a "home base" instead of finding a new place every night. We stayed for 6 nights and we visited Blarney Castle, Ring of Kerry, Limerick, Shannon, Cliffs of Moher, Rock of Cashel, Rock of Dunmase, and Bunratty Castle. We were able to do all of these with early starts and able to be back in the evenings to just chill. The fireplace was lovely and the cottage was great to just relax in after the day. There were guest in the other side of the cottage some of the nights we were there and could not hear anything through the walls. The kitchen had everything you need to prepare meals, so stopping at the store and buying our groceries helped alot. We often did breakfast and dinner in the cottage while ate lunch out. Andrew was great to sit and chat with for a while and was so full of knowledge and his love for his land and the entire area came shining through. During our stay was when the Corona-virus really picked up, and the government shut down Ireland, we were blessed to be able to do everything we wanted before it all shut down, but Andrew was great to make sure we were well aware of what was going on. We were still in Ireland when the travel ban to America took effect, but managed to make it home with very little problems. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to people who don't mind being off the beaten path!”
