A great getaway with loads to do close by for whatever mood you're in - great towns and cities like Calendar and Stirling less than half an hour away, equally beautiful countryside and multiple waterfalls, lochs and walks to choose from on the doorstep. Our toddler loved the on site swimming pool and the grown ups enjoyed the peaceful views from the hot tub too! Rosie was so friendly and accommodating.

Very kind and welcoming hosts. It’s a lovely peaceful experience to stay on their working farm. The sunset from the kitchen looking out at the horse and sheep in the field was beautiful. The stars at night are so clear too and the chickens outside in the morning was very cute my children loved seeing the animals each morning. Short 20 min drive for most shops and kids activities/farm parks but great amenities in kitchen for cooking there too.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was perfect - spacious, clean and tidy. It gave us the ideal base to explore everything Northumberland has to offer! Thank you!

Me and my partner the best couple of nights at the stable and had some much needed time away. The cottage is in a great location with so much to do nearby in Northumberland whilst still being quiet and peaceful. Rachel was also a great host and we knew she would be there if we needed her. We, a family of five, enjoyed wonderful four nights in the lovely House on the Hill which was exactly as described. A great plus was the tennis court, that was very well received by our children. Walking the dog was a great experience. We used the farm cottage to explore Scottish Borders, Northumberland and of course Edinburgh. We would certainly come back and highly recommend this lovely place!

Great accommodation and lovely hosts. Perfect spot for the endless local mountain biking, walking, coffee and cakes. Wish we had stayed another week!

We are a family of four with two young girls and felt right at home from the moment we walked in. A very lovely and comfortable cottage, well equipped and Maddie kindly left us milk in the fridge and delicious biscuits on arrival. It's a quick 40 mins to glenshee ski centre and we were lucky enough to have snow. The kids loved sledding and having a winter hike. The cottage is set in a lovely peaceful area near the river amongst blueberry and cherries trees, sadly as we came in winter they were not in bloom but you can tell how magnificent it would have been. Would recommend!

What can I say, the best Airbnb we have stayed at to date! This place is perfect, you are in the middle of fields, with lambs everywhere, your own private loch that has kayaks available to use (great fun!), a secure garden to let the dogs roam freely. The house itself is bigger than the images seem, we had plenty of space for four adults, a toddler and three dogs. They provided a cot and high chair which is a great help. There’s a huge boot room which is great to throw off your coat and walking boots, and give the dogs a towel dry after a walk. Beds were perfectly comfortable, a cosy log fire, plenty of hot water in the showers, what more could you ask for! The house felt more like a home than a rental and we are already planning our next trip. The hosts were friendly and available for any questions you may have. My daughter didn’t want to come inside, she was obsessed with the sheep and being in the garden! only issue was signal for the firestick/ phones was poor but not an issue.

Our stay at Laura's house was incredible. She provided everything we needed and more. We had our 1yr and 3yr with us and she had a toy for them, provided a high chair and bath seat along with the cot we requested. The house was so clean and beautiful, everything was perfect! Loved being surrounded by farm land, you can see Wallace Monument from the back of the house. The back patio is fenced in so our boys could play safely. We loved the hot tub! What a bonus! Laura responded to every message immediately, she had a welcome basket of food and champagne for us, she was so helpful and accommodating. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Our stay at The Stables was heaven. Paul welcomed us and showed us around and had even set up the hot tub for us arriving. The house was immaculate with everything you could possibly need and beautifully decorated too. We loved the Bluetooth mirror in the bathroom. The garden was beautiful and so peaceful and our two dogs loved it, it was completely secure for them which meant we could relax. The view from the garden and the location were wonderful, it was just what we needed. We didn’t want to leave and would love to come back sometime soon. Thank you for being wonderful hosts and for our cheeseboard and Prosecco it was such a thoughtful touch.

This was one of the nicest Airbnbs we have ever stayed at. Impeccably decorated and full of character. The location is idyllic, despite being 20 mins out of Perth you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere. The perfect place to relax, light the fire and chill with a book! You will not regret booking this fantastic home and Alice is a brilliant host! 5 stars and more!

Our weekend visiting the Lookout has been one to remember for all the right reasons. We were met with a idyllic cabin in beautiful surroundings. It offers everything you may need for a getaway in terms of amenities and comfort, but it offers so much more in the way of providing memories and giving a soul healing experience. It gives a remote breakaway, with the benefits of local sightseeing opportunities. If you do happen to visit the Lookout, makesure you step outside at night to look up! You will not be sorry. We've seen night sky's in many parts of the world but the stars at the cabin are literally out of this world. Our host Georgie was a pleasure and delight to talk with. One of the best Airb&b hosts and stays we've had. We look forward to scheduling another trip to the Lookout again. Our main reason for visiting was to visit the inner farne, which is a must if your in the area. We got some amazing photos along with our experience. Bets Samantha & Mark 😊

We had a great stay here over the Easter weekend. We live fairly nearby and wanted to try something different in a remote setting and we were not disappointed. The tiny house is stunning and is located in beautiful surriundings. The interior is modern and deceptively spacious. The village of Fintry is within walking distance (although the road has no path so take care) and other villages are a short drive away, so plenty to explore nearby. Our host welcomes us on arrival, was friendly and was proactive in reaching out to make sure we were ok. We had no issues during our stay, but am confident anything would have been resolved without issue. We loved our time here and are already looking forward to booking again in the near future. Thank you so much for having us.

I don’t have enough words for how much we loved our stay here. It was absolutely perfect. The cottage itself was well appointed, clean, and incredibly cozy. Everything in the home was lovely and intentional and there were so many thoughtful little touches (the DVD selection was brilliant). The location was so peaceful and stunning. The views were incredible. We loved watching the sheep! It’s also a short drive into the village, which has a lot to do. If you are looking for a relaxing and romantic getaway, this is your place!

Mel was a very helpful and friendly host. The cottage was comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed for a quiet and peaceful break. Particularly good for the dog with the garden being fully enclosed and free to roam.

Last minute decision to have a night away and Toms place was spot on! Perfect peaceful location, the annexe is gorgeous with everything we could need. The hot tub was dreamy even in the drizzle as the sun went down over the fields. Tom was a great host firing up the hot tub for us and recommending the fabulous Crown Inn for a great dinner! Thank you!

We had an amazing stay at the Orchard hideaway - it is in beautiful, rural and peaceful surroundings, and is exactly like the photos. It is private, warm and very clean, the hot tub is great and well maintained, and the host has thought of everything to make it a comfortable relaxing stay. We would love to come back and 100% recommend!

We had an amazing stay at the cottage. The place was very peaceful with beautiful surroundings. The cottage had plenty of space and everything we needed for our stay.

We had another wonderful stay at Lindsay’s cottage. Lindsay was extremely helpful and quick to respond. We enjoyed cosying up when the weather was bad and just appreciated the peace and quiet. The girls and the dogs loved running around the secure garden and we had the added bonus of seeing some lambs on the hill. We’ll hopefully be back again soon.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying here for 3 nights for my partners birthday and can honestly say we enjoyed every single minute. From meeting with Nick the host at check in he was friendly informative and welcoming. To the amazing scenery and amnesties with the beautiful animals. The quality of duvets, towels and bed sheets were amazing! We felt so cozy,comfortable and at home throughout our full stay. A fully equipped kitchen with everything you need. Cozy living room with smart tv was a great addition. Beds were extremely comfortable and curtains were black out so a great night sleep was had. Shower was great pressure and beautiful aaran aromatics body wash shampoo ect all supplied. Spotlessly clean property throughout. We can’t fault our stay at all and cannot wait to return! Amazing home from home house with the added bonus of a hot tub and a pool table to help unwind. Plenty of kitchen equipment to cook for large numbers.
