Thorneymire Cabin

A luxury wood cabin situated in 3 acres of private ancient woodland. The cabin has been hand crafted using reclaimed materials from an old mill in Chester and is fully insulated. Experience the peace and tranquillity, watch the stars through the star gazing window; enjoy the views across Widdale Beck to the fells beyond and delight in watching red squirrels in nearby trees. Sorry, no dogs – to protect our ancient woodland and the endangered red squirrels who live here.

The Garth has many walks straight from the door and family-friendly activities: horse riding, mountain biking, Richmond castle, limestone caves, historic railway and lead mines. The village pub and tearooms are close by (check times). You’ll love our place, with its fantastic panoramic views from all rooms . Two bedrooms, one with a 5' wide king bed, bedroom 2 has a 4' wide double bed. The new bathroom has a walk in shower, wc & washbasin. Private parking at the rear & the village car park has several EV charging points if needed. A short walk to the village stores, The Sun Inn, cafe bars & The Heritage Centre & Cafe.
