Newly refurbished & redecorated double room. Bright, cosy and comfortable. The room has a shower and toilet en-suite. There is a communal lounge where you can make your tea and coffee in front of a log fire. The views are beautiful out over the Bay and over to the Orkneys & Hoy. All ferry links are close by. Dunnet Head Lighthouse is up the road & Dunnet Beach as well as Dunnet Bay Distillery are just down the road. Its a great area for bird watchers, the Puffins are here between April & August.

The king bedroom is on the ground floor with views of Thurso Bay and Dunnet Head. Within the room are fitted wardrobes, charging points and tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge. A continental breakfast is served in the room. Our home is situated above Scrabster harbour, it is a 15-20 minute walk to catch the Orkney ferry. Alternatively it is a great place to stay if you're working in the area or exploring Caithness. If you're passing through on the NC500 this is ideal as a stopping point

The Highland Haven is perfect for those travelling the NC500 or visiting Orkney in a group. Our two rooms have traditional box beds and can sleep up to 10 (4 in one room, 6 in the other), each with Ensuite and an extra wet room. There is a large open plan kitchen, dining, lounging area surrounding a wood burner. We have secure parking, free laundry facilities and WIFI . Our location is stunning and full of wildlife. Stay in the rural heart of Neolithic Orkney

Stay with us in our eco home in the rural heart of Orkney. A short drive from Maes Howe, the Ring of Brodgar, & the Loch of Harray. A 20 minute drive from Kirkwall, Stromness, & the main tourist sites. We are not easily reachable by bus. Dogs are welcome; please bring bedding for them as they aren't allowed on the bed or furniture. Breakfast: cereal, milk, fruit juice, tea, coffee, bread, butter, jams, & yoghurt. Check in after 4pm (rarely we may ask you to come a little later.)

Parking is available right outside, but if you visit without a car, regular buses from Stromness go to all areas of Orkney.
