Fleuchary Croft House at Armadale Bay is an incredible property, suited for guests looking to experience somewhere special. This cosy home been fully renovated within the past four years with a multi fuel stove and electric heating. The cosy living room is ideal for relaxing in the evenings in front of the fire after a day of exploring all that the breathtaking area has to offer. The lovely, local owner is well known and award winning for her sheep farming. She also grazes cattle on the surrounding land and is delighted to welcome considerate and lovely guests. You will truly have your own patch of peaceful bliss in this beautiful property in Sutherland and it’s situated less than half a mile off the NC500. The property is made up of 2 bedrooms, one double and one twin. There is a family bathroom with bath and stand over shower. The kitchen is a farm house style layout, with good seating for guests to enjoy a meal together and the lounge boasts a lovely warm feel with a fuel burning stove to cosy up to at night. There are breathtaking views that span from the property, directly over Armadale Bay and you can be assured complete peace and quiet during your stay. The owner of this property is incredibly knowledgable on the local area and will always try and meet guests on arrival. The property is ideal for couples looking for a romantic and peaceful get away, or small families looking to explore the NC500. Due to the size and style of the property, please note that it can sleep a maximum of 4 guests only. Please note that this property is not suited for parties or young groups. Our guests are lucky enough to be grated by a selection of fantastic local produce provided by the owner. The property has views of Scapa Flow and is surrounded by a garden that leads to it's own Beach and River. The land includes a woodland area and wild flowers, 6 acres in total. Wild life includes: Orca's, Otters, Hen Harriers, Sea Eagles, Seals + many sea birds. On clear nights stars adorn the heavens.

It has one spacious romantic bedroom, with a very small bedroom leading off from it, with a bunk bed (two beds) suitable only for children in it. Like the other three Anderson's Harbour Cottages, each Cottage is equipped with everything including a Cook's Larder (30 + different coffees/teas/hot chocolate, cooking oils/herbs etc). A beautiful small studio apartment awaits you. Accommodation comprises own door from the main house lobby leading to the one-roomed studio with double bed, sofa, table, chairs & tv. The apartment is a small, well equipped space, 13.3m2 with kitchen and showerroom off, ideally located a few minutes flat walk from Kirkwall town centre and Orkney College with sea views across Kirkwall Bay. Ample FREE parking. Late (even midnight) arrival is fine, just let yourself in. Rigorous cleaning always.

There is direct access to the sea for paddle boarding, wind surfing or sailing in the bay. Return to the cottage to an open fire. The extensive grounds also allow for simple walks or yoga. The cottage retains some of it's 19th century charm but has been renovated to be a practical and comfortable home.
