Perfectly situated on the NC500 and cycle route, this newly built well equipped shepherd's hut is a cosy place to rest your head. It can sleep up to 3 people. A microwave, kettle, mini-fridge and crockery make up the kitchen area. There is free wifi and a digital radio with bluetooth to enjoy. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink. The views across to Ben Wyvis and the Cromarty Firth are outstanding and the dark sky at night is excellent for star gazing. Red Kites frequently fly overhead.

Old Manse Cottage

This traditional Highland cottage is spacious, bright and cosy. Original features include a huge 18th century stone fireplace and slate floors, alongside modern comforts such as a wood burning stove, open plan kitchen, shower room and king size bed (+travel cot on request). The cottage is set in a private garden with views of fields and trees. Private parking. Nestling on the shores of the Beauly Firth only 10 miles from the city of Inverness, close to the NC500, Killearnan Brae is a luxury self-contained apartment. With boundless bird life including Osprey, the gardens make an ideal spot for birdwatching. Walking from the house you will find Killearnan Church and the Medieval Redcastle both rich in Scottish History. The picturesque village of Beauly is a 5 min drive. Cosy bungalow in nice wee village; shops and train/bus routes. The Ground floor is included in this listing; upstairs is kept for storage. One double bed only, the listing says one bed in lounge, only sofas but I can’t correct this… There is a covered deck out the back door, great for sitting out in the rain! Good base for access to rest of NW Scotland; on the edge of the NC500, 14 miles from Inverness. Please read the house manual; note this is a quiet street and not a party house..

Sealladh Dubh sits on the banks of the Cromarty Firth, there's fishing - permit required - on the doorstep,beautiful views over the Black Isle. Dingwall town centre is a 10 minute walk - aprox 1/2 mile - with many cafes, restaurants, hotels, and pubs. The North Coast 500 route also passes through Dingwall. Hill walking and nature trails are also easily accessible or if it's beaches you're after, there's an abundance. We supply tea, coffee, sugar, milk, biscuits, bread, water and butter.
