Centre of Moffat town is only a 4/5 minute walk away from this quiet, beautiful rural location. It is great for children and you can park your car right next to the entrance. It is gated and you can close the gate if you want.
“A very large and beautiful garden flat in a lovely quiet area of moffat. We especially loved using the steam room and the gym almost on a daily basis. Kitchen is huge and cooking on the aga is fantastic, the living room is super cosy with the log effect gas fire. Luke and Anna Maria were friendly and very helpful with any questions we asked. Moffat is a lovely town and there is local walks practically from the doorstep, great restaurants and pubs too. We would definitely return. Thank you.”

It's a perfect relaxing retreat for a weekend or longer, or as a stop over, being only 5 minutes from the M74. There is a private, walled garden to sit in on sunny days and locked storage for bicycles, walking and climbing gear. Moffat is a rural gem, yet just over 1 hours drive from Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Christine has recently redecorated every room, and had a new kitchen/diner installed, so as nice as the photos were when we booked it was 100 times better when we arrived! To say this is a home from home is an understatement, so warm and cosy with absolutely everything you need to relax and feel at home. Situated in a countryside location, 5 miles from Moffat with beautiful views. Our Bothy has a lounge with kitchen/ dining area and 2 double bedrooms, both with en-suite facilities. Freeview colour television with CD and DVD, radio/alarm and hairdryer. Bathrobes and toiletries are provided for your use. Please note Cauldholm Bothy is not suitable for children.
“I've stayed here twice now and hope to return soon. It's a gorgeous little cottage/bothy in a relaxing rural area just a short drive from Moffat. There's everything that you need and more in the accommodation. You're well looked after with the extra mile that Shona goes. I love the decor, furniture and little touches like breakfast, toiletries and books/games. Relax, do some bird spotting, play the guitar, go walking etc. Switch off your phone and immerse yourself in the quiet nature-filled surroundings of the Scottish Borders. Thank you Shona.
