Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Munich

We had a lovely stay at Dunja’s house in Westendorf. It’s a very peaceful village in a beautiful area, and a great base for exploring south-west Bavaria. The house is fabulous, and extremely well appointed. We felt right at home immediately, It is extremely spacious and immaculately clean. We would definitely look to stay here again if we were in the area.

This cabin is just charming, it was very easy to instantly relax and feel right at home. The property is literally on the edge of a forest, with Worthsee lake just 15 minutes away on foot, there’s a couple of restaurants right on the lake, but the kitchen is very well equipped to cook as well. Wish I could have stayed longer.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was very clean and well maintained. The location is perfect – quiet yet central so you can reach everything quickly. We would like to highlight the friendly hosts who welcomed us warmly and were always helpful. We will be happy to come back and absolutely recommend this place!

We were lucky to get this place at quite short notice as we spontaneously agreed to go on a trip. 2 adults and 2 children were there. The place offers more than enough space to accommodate everyone. Theoretically, there would have been room for another person. The village where the place is located is very nice. Everything is within walking distance. The Lech that flows there invites you to take long walks. Beautiful area there. All other attractions are super easy and quick to reach by car. Even the initial doubts that there is no TV in the accommodation (the smaller participants have this) made us very nervous. But at no time was that missed. All in all, we are very glad to have had a place to stay from Micha. Who, by the way, is super nice and always available should there be any questions. I/We can only recommend it

The place was very nice and clean – exactly as described. Everything was easy to reach, be it shopping, restaurants or beautiful excursions in the surrounding area. There are many fantastic places nearby, perfect for exploring and relaxing. We had a really relaxing time and would come back anytime. Highly recommended! The hosts were super friendly and helpful. The communication was straightforward, quick and warm – I felt welcome from the beginning. You can tell that they care about the well-being of their guests.

We stayed at Christof's beautiful place in the spring with our two kids. The house is fantastically beautiful, and the complex (garden with pool, sauna, bathtub,...) is also a dream. The children had their fun in the pool and we parents had a cozy time with sauna and Co. We especially liked the cleanliness and the modern yet cozy furnishings in the house. We had a great time as a family and would love to come back.

Very comfortable house, it had everything we needed. Location was super good, close to Füssen and the castles. I definitely recommend this place!

I had a lovely four nights staying at Karoline's place. It's a great place in a quiet neighbourhood. The appartment has everything you need, and there is lots to explore in the surrounding mountains and further afield. The town has all the amenities you need. I hope to be back!

I had the pleasure of staying at this place and can only recommend it. The location is excellent, so you can easily reach everything. In addition, the apartment is very clean, well equipped and nicely furnished. You're right at home. It is definitely worth staying here – an all-round pleasant experience!

What a lovely gem, located on the winding river path in Oberammergau. We felt right at home and the family was very hospitable. Beautiful home with updated features and awesome fenced in backyard for your pets. Peaceful, quiet stay and very walkable into the center of town. Would definitely stay here again!

I had a wonderful short break at Katrin's place! The apartment is really comfortable and decorated with a lot of attention and love. Everything is sparkling clean and tidy. The view from the balcony is fantastic and you can make nice little hikes from the apartment. The area and the house are quiet and very soothing. Katrin is a great hostess, responds quickly, thinks along and gives recommendations for things to do in the area. I would book with Katrin again anytime and would love to recommend the apartment from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for this beautiful place , dear Katrin!

Thank you for a great stay. You feel welcome and appreciated right from the start. In all places, even small things are thought of, even if it is the extension cable under the bed, toys for the children, coffee, candles, hiking maps. It was really like home! Thanks!

Very nice ground floor apartment with terrace and located in a quiet area, well equipped with everything you need, The highway can be reached quickly and not far from Munich. The landlord is very nice and likeable. 👍 Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Annika's place is fantastic and I definitely recommend it. It is very clean, spacious, well furnished and equipped with every comfort. You can see the commitment with which Annika takes care of her. The garden and terrace then offer an appreciable added value in case there is good weather. The location is ideal because it is close to the lake and allows you to easily reach many other beautiful towns in the area. Supermarkets, shops, and restaurants are all within walking distance. Communication with Annika was quick and easy. Thank you so much for a great stay!

My family and I had a wonderful stay in Nicholas’s house. The countryside is beautiful and there are totally stunning views of the mountains from the back of the house. We also enjoyed the pool and sauna very much, and my nephew enjoyed saying hello to the chickens. The bedrooms were generously sized and very comfortably furnished. The kitchen was well equipped and washing machine room was essential and very welcome for our family after muddy walks. It was great how close a few walking trails were to the lake and across the moor, and the town is walkable too, with a good selection of a few local shops and larger supermarket for groceries. Even on the rainy days, the house was a very peaceful place to spend time and the large smart tv and games cupboard was a blessing for adults and toddler alike. Special thanks to the caretakers who helped make our stay especially comfortable with thoughtful recommendations and guidance when we needed it about the house.

We came and stayed at Madsen’s place for a week while attending Bauma in Munich. The place was fantastic! It was very clean and had plenty of room. It is a short walk away from a grocery store and several good places to eat. The train station is about a 15 to 20 minute walk based upon pace but it is in a very quiet and safe area. We will definitely stay here again in the future when we comeback to Munich. Thank you Madsen for being such an excellent host.

We had a really nice weekend at Adventure Bavaria's Burg Villa! Everything was very well communicated and easy to find, self check-in straightforward. The house is spacious, very cozy and perfectly equipped (with top coffee machine) - especially the terrace with mountain views is a dream. We are completely satisfied and would come back anytime. We could not be happier with our stay at Hotel Villa Ludwig. The private villa is an entire private residence which is both luxurious and historic. The staff are lovely and treated us like family from the moment we arrived. They ensured that all our needs were met, were very responsive, and took the time to answer questions and make helpful recommendations. Fresh breads with butter, honey, and jams were delivered to the Villa each morning, and they even included gluten free options. The property is at the base of the Neuschwanstein Castle, so the location is very close to both castles in Schwangau. It is also close to local restaurants and stores. We would highly recommend staying at Hotel Villa Ludwig and plan to stay here again. Thank you to Jessica and her colleagues for making our vacation special and for being so gracious and hospitable.

Petra and Jurgen welcomed us and explained everything. During the stay, we asked some questions and got a quick answer. After leaving, forget my toothbrush and it will be sent by mail. We stayed during the Christmas period with 2 adults and 4 children and a large dog and all had a great time in the house where there is a very nice atmosphere. A short distance two ski areas that are ideal for the beginner winter sports enthusiasts. We would recommend this beautiful place and nice house to everyone.
