Beachfront vacation rentals in North Berwick

This place is stunning both interior and the shoreline right outside! We would love to stay again! The loft sleeping arrangement brought us back to university days climbing up the ladder to our lofted bed! Caron was so nice and accomodating!

Communication with the host Julie were great. The cottage is beautiful and well furnished. Kitchen had every appliance we could have needed and more. Bed were comfy and bed linen clean. Even treats for the dogs. The welcome pack of bread, milk etc was a great help as we arrived late afternoon(we especially enjoyed the wine!). We travelled up to Seahouses and Bamburgh and to Morpeth. We have holidayed in Northumberland for over 30 years and had never visited Newbiggin. my daughter loved walking up early to walk along the beach to watch the sun rise. We would recommend this cottage as a base to explore this stunningly beautiful part of the country.

What a fabulous little house! So cosy with beautiful views and a great cafe just across from it. Lovely walks over the cliffs - we saw dolphins and seals - amazing. Shame there’s not a pub in St Abs but we walked into Coldingham along the cliff path for a drink - we came back the same way as there isn’t a pavement on the road back but if you take torches the cliff path was okay - barely needed the torches as the moon was so bright. We will definitely be back again.

We've had a lovely short break at The Snug & our first time using Airb&b. Tom & Dawn have made the snug home from home thinking of all the little extras which make such a difference. From the welcome pack, to towels for the dog. The snug is immaculate & everywhere is so clean. We found the area nice and relaxing and not far to walk or drive to other areas. The communication between Tom & Dawn is excellent where they are responsive and nothing is too much trouble. Would definitely recommend to others and would return as we just wanted to press the pause button & relax which we were certainly able to do so thank you for making our stay relaxing. Colin & Julie

Lucy's flat by the sea in North Berwick was very comfortable and spacious. We liked the nearness to the beach (particularly my granddaughter) and the views to the Bass Rock from the sitting room. It was very well equipped and had everything we needed. There is plenty to do in North Berwick and it was only a short walk to the Seabird Centre and even shorter to the excellent local museum, which was a great place to visit on a wet day. We would particularly recommend the boat trip to Craigleith and the Bass Rock where we saw great numbers of gannets and rafts of puffins. There are some interesting shops in North Berwick's High Street with an old-fashioned sweety shop (much appreciated by my granddaughter), a high quality wool shop, and the inestimable Bostock Bakery for indulgent cinnamon buns and croissants. There are plenty of good restaurants too. Being without a car was fine, as all these attractions are just a short walk from Lucy's flat.

Such a fabulous place. The view is gorgeous and the whole flat is comfortable and really well equipped. We had a wonderful time and hope to stay again in the future. Thank you Douglas.

We absolutely loved our stay here and will most definitely be back. Although the dolphins were hiding we saw a sea otter which was amazing. Didn’t know there was such a thing had to google it. Fascinating. Don’t have one negative to say about our stay at Newbiggin on Sea. Thank you Debbie x

We had a fantastic stay here! The cottage is lovely and immaculate! Rhona was really proactive with communication and gave us great recommendations for nearby restaurants and cafes. The location is beautiful! Just a few steps to a lovely and peaceful beach and 10 minutes walk into town. We hope to be back!

We really enjoyed our trip to Northumberland and staying in Linda's caravan. The caravan is spotless and had everything we needed. Lovely and cosy and a great space to relax. Linda is very helpful and thoughtful leaving little treats for our children- thank you. The local area is beautiful with lots of castles and beaches to explore. Would definitely stay again as we have more exploring to do in the Summer! Thankyou x

Very clean and cozy home. Everything needed for a comfy stay. Nice and close to the ocean. Ubers are a struggle to get and the bus takes about an hour to get into Edinburgh city center. Overall very clean and positive experience!

Love this place, right by the beach, and a beautiful beach too. The host was so responsive and helpful from start to finish. The place was immaculately clean, just as described, lovely and warm with all the utensils and appliances working exactly as they should. Easy to walk to town, with a Co-Op and pubs and restaurants there. Shower pretty good too. Family bathroom and a small but useful en-suite to the main bedroom

Maggie is an amazing host. We arrived to find groceries already waiting for us and a belated birthday gift for myself. Communication was easy and fast. Kids loved the bonus of the play station and the two ride-on bikes. Easy to catch bus 26 from just outside the park to go into Edinburgh. We loved that the location of the van was close enough to everything of the park but still in a quiet section.

Absolutely perfect break away. Fantastic position of the van, amazing sea views. Van had everything we needed. Kids loved being so close to the beach and were able to come and go whenever they wanted as we could see them at all times. James was great at answering any queries… within minutes! We will 100% be back. Thank you so much.

It really was a brilliant place and hope Chris would accept us again! me and my family really needed this break and was a perfect location and perfect little setting. Comfortable beds and extremely clean.

One of our favourite properties we have ever stayed in from Air B and B. The lodge was very cosy with beautiful views particularly from the kitchen and sitting room, of the sea on one side and open fields on other. Great location also- just yards outside was the door was the choice of beautiful cliff walk or Coldingham Sands beach. Kitchen is also very well equipped, although due to the position of the lighting was a little dark when it trying to preparing food as you end blocking the light with your back. Bed and sofa very comfy! Only difficulty was that we struggled to work the shower in bedroom but we’re able to use the one over the bath in the main bathroom so wasn’t really a problem Would love to visit again and will be recommending to others!

This was a truly wonderful place to stay. Felt like home as every little detail had been thought about and was really cosy. It was perfect for the 6 of us. Great location right next to the sea with wonderful sunrises strolling along the beach. Beautifully decorated and well kept accomodation. Close to some fabulous attractions. We enjoyed Woodhorn Colliery museum, saw dolphins at Newbiggin as the sun set, a fantastic boat trip to the Farne Islands and Lindisfarne from Seahouses, Warkworth Castle and beach, and a stop in Amble. Thank you so much to our wonderful hosts who kept in good communication throughout and were really helpful. We would thoroughly recommend this place to others looking for a base to explore Northumberland and all it has to offer.

We can only say extremely positive comments about Amanda and Seas the Day. The house was a home from home, we settled instantly. Everything you could want was provided and kitchen appliances were straight forward to use. The house was immaculate and well cared for. The area was quiet and in a good location for visiting local beaches and castles.We were blessed with sunshine which made every trip out, beautiful. We stayed at Mar House for a holiday with our children and grandchildren. The instructions before arrival were timeous and clear. The house had been decorated to a high standard and was accurately reflected in the photos. We were delighted to find the requested high chair and travel cot for our wee ones. The house more than met our needs and we appreciated the milk, juice and shortbread left as a welcome gift. The Tunnock’s tea cakes on the beds were a big win 😊 The house was a 15 min walk into town. We definitely recommend and would love to stay again.

Location, Location, Location. Sitting right next to the sea overlooking the village. This is one of those breaks where you don't really need anything else to do, you can just stay put for a few days and enjoy. The property is immaculate. We stayed Easter weekend, kite festival on the beach in the village was a treat. Nice local cafe's and take aways and well stocked small local supermarket an easy walk away. Only moved the car to use the EV charger in the free car park just along the road. A pod of Harbour Porpoises swam right past us on the last day. Perfect!

Fantastic location for exploring Newbiggin and a great base for exploring further into Northumberland. Responsive host and simple check in/out. Great value for money. The host left plenty of kitchen and bathroom essentials which we appreciated. We visited as a family of four and found plenty of space for us. Walkable to the beach and local shops/cafes etc Would definitely visit again

Great two nights stay over New Year’s Eve fantastic location for beach pubs & cafes etc in walking distance. Lovely & clean & comfy fantastic hot tub would recommend to family & friends thanks again for the perfect break away.
