Waterfront vacation rentals in Oban

Centrally located, walking distance from the pier with private parking. Hard to find a better spot in Oban. Very clean, very well-equipped, large enough and comfortable for 4 people. The kitchen is great and there is a bit of a view on the harbour. Lorraine is an attentive host and very responsive. A very comfortable and uncomplicated stay. Would highly recommend.

The 3 flights of stairs was worth the climb as we had a spacious apartment with a beautiful view of the bay all to ourselves. Elizabeth also went the extra mile to congratulate us on our honeymoon and left us a bag of chocolates that were much appreciated. The kitchen was well-stocked and it was a shame we didn't stay long enough to use all the amenities. We'd love to stay again the next time we're in town.

We spent three days at Daniel's place and it was perfect for staying in Fort William and accessing nearby areas such as Glencoe. The apartment was very clean, beds were comfortable and the kitchen and parking were great to have. Best was that we were a family of 4 with two teenaged children and everyone liked being independent. The location couldn't have been more walkable. Even though right in town, it was also quiet. The entry hallway could be spruced up a bit and better smelling but that's it! We had one issue when my daughter tripped a breaker with her hair dryer. A reminder to get a converter as well as an adapter if coming from the US. Daniel responded immediately with where the breaker panel was located.

Fab location for access to Sse Hydro and Ovo, easy walk to and from gig.. Lovely balcony area overlooking the clyde. I would not hesitate to book again for next concert.

I was at janes place this time as I was just out t h e hospital and I was just in the flat getting n g a rest but it was fine to rest anyone that goes here will love it it has got everything you need x

We had a lovely stay in Scott’s very attractive, comfortable flat. It’s got a really nice outdoor patio area and the walk along the harbour is fun to do. Lots of nice restaurants nearby and the parking is very straightforward. Scott himself was very friendly and helpful. All in all quite a find!

We had a great experience from start to finish whilst staying in Claudio’s place. The apartment was just as we expected from the description and had everything we needed including breakfast supplies in the fridge on our arrival. The location was great. The views were stunning and the ferry was right on our door step. We enjoyed a beautiful walk to the Marina where we had a lovely lunch in the cafe Bistro. I would highly recommend this. Communication with Claudio was very way as were check in and check out

Robert's place is in the perfect location for exploring Oban and the surrounding areas! It's a lovely apartment, with excellent views, and plenty of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Very easy to get to from the train, and Robert was a delightful host. Would definitely recommend!

Cragowlet was a beautiful stay with big and beautiful rooms. Very specious and well-equipped kitchen and bathroom which is always a big plus. Brian as a host was wonderful! Helpful and ready to give guidence and advice for local activities if we needed it. Cragowlet was beautiful and we definitely want to go back if we're in the area again. Couldn't recommend more! 👌

We enjoyed a lovely stay while attending a wedding nearby. The house was perfect, so welcoming, homely and very clean. Kim was a responsive host from the off, advising on taxi numbers and great local recommendations for eating out and buying those last minute bits and bobs that you’ve likely forgot! This property was such a find, and we enjoyed watching the changing weather over the loch. Highly recommended.

John was a fantastic host, and we couldn’t have asked for a better location or property. The views were outstanding and we could have easily just gone for those but the house was plenty big enough for 8 adults and 3 children, they didn’t want to leave. It was very clean with clear instructions. We would highly recommend John and his property!

We booked relatively last minute to stay with Michelle, yet we were catered for above and beyond. The wonderful little touches of cheese and biscuits, milk and juice, not to mention the lovely easter treats. We felt very much at home and extremely comfortable in the house, it is so homely. The location is superb as you can walk everywhere, we didnt use the car once from arriving to leaving. We walked to boat trips and restaurants, as well as to the ferry to Kerrera. The cottage was great for all the family. We were surprised how much space there was and it is such a fantastic location with lots to do. The utility room came in useful after watersports on the Loch or mountain biking. Views across the lambing fields and valley towards Loch Earn were beautiful and relaxing. We hebben een fantastische paar nachten gehad bij "Dail an Fheidh" het huisje van Elizabeth. Wat een prachtig huisje die aan alles voldeed, het uitzicht en wakker worden tussen de herten is magisch! Een supermarkt is niet om de hoek maar als je van tevoren je boodschappen doet of met het voetgangerspondje naar de overkant gaat maakt het heel niet uit. Na een tip van de host een heerlijke pizza gegeten bij een brouwerij op 15 min rijden. Er is veel te zien en te doen in de omgeving zoals Glenfinnan en Loch shiel en de Ben Nevis. Een plekje om tot rust te komen en te genieten, een plekje om zeker te onthouden en aan te raden voor iedereen!

We absolutely loved staying at Julie and Ians place. The scones and prosecco on arrival was a lovely touch and a fab way to start of our weekend! The location was just stunning and we enjoyed having a wee dip in the river at the end of the garden! Would highly recommend this place as it was perfect for making a nice meal and enjoying each others company. Thanks so much for hosting us!

It was centrally located, super easy to get to, cozy on a chilly wet day, great location for walking to and from. It was squeaky clean and had absolutely everything we could possibly need packed into a sweet little compact space. Joanna was very responsive and always ready to answer any questions we had. When we return to Tobermory, this is where we will stay again.

The Editor’s Choice is a lovely apartment: quiet, spotless and close to restaurants and the port. We appreciated the very well-equipped kitchen, the plants and the tasteful decor. It is up three flights of stairs, so make sure you’re travelling light! The reward for getting up there is the fine views to the south, across the port and up to pulpit hill.

This apartment was the best we have stayed in while visiting Bute. The dining room and large kitchen were brilliant (not something you get in most apartments on the island). It was very cosy, trendy and spacious. We will be back.

It was great! I hadn’t heard of Great Cumbrae before but now I definitely want to go back to stay there. Ailsa’s place was a great base to stroll around the island. The flat offers most likely the best view to watch the sunset at this time of the year while enjoying a hot cup of tea!
