Cottage vacation rentals in Ouachita River

I had an amazing time staying at the cottage! I wanted something more secluded and this was perfect. Beautiful surroundings and the cottage was cozy and just the right size for myself and pup! I will definitely book again at this cottage!

Outstanding stay at this location. Everything was well maintained and clean. Our host was exceptionally responsive and helpful. We recommended this location to our in-laws and will try to stay here again the next time we are in Hot Springs--the listing represents the actual home/amenities well.

We throughly enjoyed our stay. The place is absolutely beautiful. The fire pit was perfect for star gazing.

This place was absolutely beautiful and such a cozy home. Kristi was responsive and the communication was great. She even let us check-in a couple hours early since the place was vacant the day before. The only con was the hot tub needed a part ordered and it wasnt going to be installed until after our trip ended. My gf and I were not able to enjoy it the first night. However, it started heating up and it work the rest of our trip! This also was not a damper on our vaction, as we decided to extend our stay for another night because we liked it so much! I brought some poles and we fished off the private dock, enjoyed staying in while it stormed and rested in the hot tub at night. All of her TVs were connected to all the streaming platforms, making movie nights an ease. I would love to come back during the warmer months to enjoy the kayaks they provide, as it was too cold to enjoy them.This place was very much worth it and we had an amazing time. Thank you for the great memories we made!

Such a great place to stay, I am so glad that I found it! Lisa was friendly, quick to respond, and accommodated all of our needs. This place was exactly what we were looking for. I would highly recommend, and we hope to return again in the future.

Luke hosted a pastor and his family that came to our local church for a youth event. The house was beautiful and clean and better than the family could have imagined. They went above and beyond to ensure that every need was met. Communication was prompt and easy, and they even went out of their way to accommodate them when some belongings were left behind. I cannot recommend this Airbnb enough. Anyone who stays here is in for a very special treat!

Great place to stay! Cozy and clean! Was just passing through but would have loved to hang out in the back yard with the fire pit. Binder with everything you needed to know as well as food and outdoor recommendations! Would definitely stay again!

We had an amazing time here. Very nice place to stay. Really peaceful and relaxing. The cabin was really comfortable with plenty of space. We loved being able to use the kayaks and canoe. Such a neat experience. Would highly recommend staying here.

Absolutely amazing! Had a great time inside and outside the house. Very unique antique decorations, Nona has done an awesome job decorating, every piece is lovely, I enjoyed walking around the house and observing all the furniture and wall pieces. Outside is beautiful too, very quiet neighborhood. Make sure to take logs and use the fire pit and just enjoy the quietness ( neighbor dogs will stop barking after a few minutes). We will definitely be back :)

Teri and her dog were very friendly. A very nice place to stay. Our grandchildren enjoyed meeting Jacob the donkey and his band of alpacas.

Elaine is an awesome host. My wife and I originally booked this for ourselves because we loved this place when we stayed here before. We recently found an apartment to rent in the historic district so we no longer needed it for ourselves and my wife’s parents used it in our place. Elaine made the name switch for us and my wife’s parents fell in love with the place. Everything about their stay was perfect. As a matter of fact I just booked it again and this time my parents will get to enjoy this beautiful place in May.

Super nice cottage in tranquil neighborhood. The bird feeder attracted many birds including a number of Cardinals. Very relaxing.

Our family loved our stay here. The cabin was so pretty and nicely decorated. Tammy and David had some really sweet touches that we loved like the scented spray in the bathroom, the cute soaps and the yummy snacks! The bed was so comfortable and the cabin had everything we needed. Thank you for hosting us. It was a lovely vacation.

Wonderful place to stay for the weekend. The home is very thoughtfully decorated and designed. You can tell the hosts put a lot of love into this home. The home is in a very private location. The hosts provided water bottles, which is a huge plus for me. The shower was really nice and stayed hot for 3 people to take a morning shower. Each room had a luggage rack. And extra toiletries were provided in case anyone forgot something. I’d love to stay here again!

We’ve stayed at a lot of Airbnb’s, this is one of our favorites. The furniture is comfortable, great lighting, the kitchen was easy to cook in, properly stocked with dishes, utensils. pots and pans, a dishwasher… The showers were great, we’ve had a lot of bad showers. And the beds were comfortable, another issue we usually find at other Airbnb’s. Plenty of parking and despite what another reviewer said, we had our expensive off road Jeep in tow and we had zero worries about it being stolen or broken into. The neighborhood is nice and the location was fantastic for using the Hot Springs Off Road Park. The home was immaculate.

Place is beautiful, decorated very tastefully, fully furnished, comfortable king bed, walking distance to historic downtown Nacogdoches. We usually stay at the Fredonia Inn but now have a new favorite place.

Thomas was always quick to answer my questions. The Rental was very clean and comfortable. Location was close to Shopping Centers, Restaurants, and a Choctaw Casino. Neighborhood was very quiet. A Great Place to Stay. I am sure to visit again in the future and will book with Thomas again.

Christie’s cottage was better than the pictures!! A beautiful and cozy home. My family just loved everything about it. It was the perfect spot to spend spring break at. The price for what you get it, is a total steal!!! We hope to come back next spring! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. My kids loved the bunk beds and tv with a dvd player and the deck to enjoy hot coco and smores on. We highly recommend Christie’s cottage to other families!
