We stayed with a group of friends in the home for less than a week and everything went very well. We're especially happy with the trip and the home in every way! The space was as described, clean, and cozy. We received very good instructions for arrival and everything went smoothly, without any problems. We'd love to come again! 😊

Good and inexpensive accommodation for our large group. There was plenty of space and comfortable beds for everyone. We found everything we needed. There was room for two cars and a trailer.

Very nice house fully equipped with everything you may need and enough bedrooms for a big family like ours. Very calm location in the countryside at the lake side, surrounded by snow in winter. Fireplace at the lakeside.

Amazing accommodation - I would 100% recommend When looking to visit Lapland, we looked through all the normal areas, but after much research we decided that Ruka had everything we wanted and was far less commercial than Rovaniemi. My two boys wanted a chalet in the middle of some woods with plenty of snow, I wanted somewhere with great road access and that felt like we was in the middle of nowhere. This accommodation ticked all our boxes and more, this place was truly an amazing dream. From a location point of view it was amazing, 10 minutes drive from the ski resort, 5 minutes drive from the husky park, 10 minutes from a lidl and the reindeer farm was on the door step. but it felt so remote so location was perfect. Accommodation - my kids loved it, very big spacious, nice and warm and had lots of snow, it really is probably the best air b&b accommodation we have ever used, Oh and the Sauna was a great added bonus. Added bonus We got to see the Northern lights very night.

Delightful, tidy cottage with equipment, sauna provided lovely steam. The location is peaceful and close to the trails! Communicating with your host is quick, hassle-free, and always friendly.

Riikka is extremely responsive, she responded very quickly to any questions we had. The chalet is perfect for a family rental, very well designed and very welcoming. We were a family of 6 and everyone found the perfect accommodation!

My family and I spent 5 nights at Krister's cottage and had a great time. The cottage is in a quiet location, cozy and well-equipped. The instructions were clear and Krister soon responded to inquiries. We'll definitely be back.

It was nice and cozy stay

We really enjoyed our stay at Justin's place. The house is very big with 5 bedrooms and a spacy living/dining room with a view to the lake. Beautiful fireplace and lots of wood available. Kitchen has everything you might need, and a restaurant very near. Skiing track on the lake. Thank you Justin!

We had a wonderful stay! The place is really cozy and near all the places you need for any kind of activities. We hope to come back during summer season!! Absolutely recommended!

Cozy, nice wilderness hut with everything you need for an adventure in the middle of finnish nature.

We spent four days at the property in January 2025. The cabin was very lonely located on a frozen lake very idyllic and quiet. You could rest completely, without any traffic noise. It was fantastically beautiful, there was a lot of snow on site in January. Especially the sauna was very nice, the extra fees for the HotTub were a bit too high in my opinion, as the cabin was priced higher. It was also not that easy to put it into operation with wood. The main cabin was very well furnished, the kitchen super equipped. With a passr shopping, you could eat yourself very well. However, if you want restaurants or supermarkets nearby, you should book somewhere else, as you had to drive 10-15 minutes here by car. It was so perfect for us. The beds very comfortable, ideal for a family with 4 children. The TV is a little too small for the size of the room.

The cabin was so nice! It was really clean, spacious, had lots of board games, and provided for a really fun holiday. The walk to the slopes was pretty quick (around 10 minutes) and the sauna was amazing for after a long day on the slopes. Also the loft is really cute and cozy! Definitely would recommend this cabin to my friends and family. And if I come back to ski some more, I’d definitely try to book this cabin again!

This apartment was amazing. We really appreciated it. It is very modern and clean and very close to the nature. All the furniture and equipments are very high quality. I was happy for the car charger. My wife really enjoyed the fireplace with a lot of wood. We were lucky, because we saw the Northern light from our bed. The Ruka’s ski resort is also nice. It is highly recommended and we would like to come back in the future. The apartment is much better than what you see on the pictures. Thank you for everything!

We left for 2 nights of relaxation from the seasonal work in Rovaniemi to Villa Kanger Ruka 1 for February 4, 2025 - February 6, 2025. We were 6 people and really enjoyed our time. Villa Kanger Ruka was better than we could have imagined! Things to do and hangout were found for everyone (together and separately): some were skiing at Ruka, some sled in the yard, and some enjoyed the hot tub. So there was plenty of things to do and what to do and Villa Kanger Ruka made it all possible with its great setting. We would have wished we could have stayed longer, and I'm sure we'll come again at other times! Thanks!
