  • Annie’s place was in a great part of Dublin. It was a very quiet and relaxing room. I’ll definitely be back when I’m in Dublin.

  • Great experience house is in a ideal location . Room was very clean and provided TV with Netflix so perfect for the evening to unwind. One small disappointment was the neighbours where very loud 2 nights in a row partying going till 2-3am which affected my sleep. But overall it was a pleasure to stay her and will be back again thanks jamie

    Derek2020-04-13T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was great, good communication with the owner, the house and room were like the pictures, and it was very clean. Uncomfortable bed and good location. We walked to the centre every day but you also have bus stops just outside the house and good connection to anywhere. Train station and lua 5-10minutes walk.

    Itxaso2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • The house is incredible. It has all the amenities we needed. The house is always clean. We stayed for two weeks and felt at home. Good location, close to the city center, 20 minutes walk. Thank you Jamie for welcoming us so well.

    Micaelly2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Jamie’s room was well maintained and great, everything we needed was in there and didn’t need to request for anything else, the new redone shower was nicely made, there was a decent size gap underneath the out room door that let plenty of noise in when other people would go into the rooms above ours. the location funny because we didn’t expect to be in the “Hood” haha although my girlfriend and I were a bit skeptical at first after going into our room everything was perfectly fine. If you’re looking for a nicely priced stay in the north side of Dublin this is a good spot, we don’t have anything to complain about. Your rooms I’m sure will be just as great experience as ours :))

A well equipped and great value apartment in the North City. Ideal for independent travellers seeking a central location at a reasonable price. Featuring keyless, digital entry, 24/7 check in, the apartment has all you need to cook, shower & sleep comfortably, plus Cable TV & wifi. Airport bus drops off over the road at Connolly Station. Supermarkets, O’Connell St, The Spire & IFSC 10 mins walk, with Temple Bar 15-20 mins. Note: above a head shop (legal highs). Please consider before booking.
Paper towels are not provided - this is a choice for the environment and the future. We do not supply face cloths, sorry - our linen company does not stock them. The studio is on the ground level. It features a full bathroom with the benefits of electric shower, and kitchen with all you need to cook, including kettle, toaster, hob, microwave, fridge and pots, pans and trays. A double bed in the bedroom makes up the sleeping configuration. Cable TV & fast wifi, plus, easy key code check in. Like all of our apartments, this has all a traveler needs to 'live like a local' and see the sights, without having to take public transport everywhere, or to hire a car.....................
Due to it's location at the fringe of the city centre, this neighborhood is always popular with travellers, mainly due to its proximity to the major public transport hub of Dublin - Connolly Station - and the availability of affordable accommodation, such as the large number of hostels & bnbs. Whilst well within walking distance of most attractions, the area is generally more suited to younger travellers or people who are comfortable in diverse, city crowds, populated by people of all classes and creeds. Being so close to the major train station and many working class pubs, you may occasionally see some quite intoxicated locals, but they are just on their own journey and keep to themselves. Some guests have reported feeling a bit unsafe at night, yet to this day, we have hosted over 15000 travellers without a single report of harm ever occurring. This can be validated by reading our 500+ reviews. You won't find a single incident.

Here the Dublin Artisan Dwelling Company constructed cottages in the adventurously named First, Second, Third and Fourth Avenues. Number 54 has been refurbished within an inch of its life by its current owner. A few hundred metres from the IFSC, the house spans 450 sq ft in which every inch has been utilised. You walk in the front door and down steps to the contemporary open-plan living room, dining room and kitchen. Behind this arrangement at the back is the family bathroom, while upstairs there is a decent sized mezzanine room used as a bedroom. The décor is primarily clean white with bright primary coloured furnishings. The kitchen has bespoke floor and eye level units, a stainless steel sink unit, an integrated Zanussi oven, microwave and four-ring hob. There is also some additional under stairs storage. There's a reasonable sized yard to the rear which the owners use for dining out in the summer months." (URL HIDDEN)

Please note that this apartment is most comfortable and best suited for 2 guests or a family with small children. It is not intended for 4 adults as the space is somewhat small. • Nice and cozy place in a great location.

    Miles2019-07-10T00:00:00Z
  • Roberta was an excellent host, she handled my parents stay both efficiently and effectively with local tips and recommendations. The place is located quite close to the centre and is quite comfortable in terms of all amenities.

    Luca2019-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Flat is nice and modern but a bit small and dark. Location is 20 min by feet from city center and easily accessible by bus. The host was welcoming and provided us with useful information.

    Vincent2018-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • A very nice studio, cozy, very well equipped with all the necessary and even more! Only 10/15 min walk to the busy streets of the city, and 2 min walk to Croke Park (to visit absolutely)! The building and the neighborhood are very quiet and the host really very welcoming, available for any question or concern. Everything was very clean. It's just a shame that there is no tv (there is one, but only with Youtube or Netflix, but without the channels) and there are no shutters (the curtain does not serve much). But it is not very important for us: we had a great stay! + the studio is perfect for two people (but not more).

    Justine2018-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • A great space, a great location, and a great price! This small apartment has everything you could need, including some kitchen staples and bathroom toiletries. Roberta was very accommodating with check in and was quick to respond to any question I had during my stay. The apartment was spectacularly clean and even had written information about the city including things to do during my visit. It's an easy 20 minute walk to the heart of the city or a 5 minute bus ride on the 123 line. Dublin is very user friendly. The bus system is a piece of cake to master but even if it wasn't every local I engaged with was more than willing to help out. Dubliners are probably the nicest people I've met so far! I would stay here again, no question.

The apartment itself is very clean and the beds are really comfortable. Elizabeth herself is an amazing host, has great local knowledge and replies to queries quickly. Overall... a great place to stay!

    Molly2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Clean and well located apartment very close to the center of Dublin. Good bedding. On the second floor, no elevator. Quiet area very close to buses and a train station (Connolly), very convenient for going north or south directly. Convenience stores nearby (we preferred the Talbot Street Supervalu). We have not seen anyone, management is entrusted to a provider, but their messages are clear and precise (but in English).

    Francois-Xavier2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Pleasant, comfortable space, quiet area with close transport. For those who don't mind walking, the location is perfect. The host is very helpful and responds quickly to messages sent. I recommend

    Patrick2020-01-16T00:00:00Z
  • A very nice apartment in a central location. We stay over Christmas and we’re able to cook a big dinner etc no problem during our stay. The road outside if vacant has free parking which wasn’t expected. Highly recommend

    Brendan2019-12-26T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is very well located. Everything is done on foot. If necessary bus and train in the surrounding streets. Bus close to go and enjoy the coast and beautiful walks on the cliffs in 1/2 hour. The appearance is very good, bright, silent, clean. Good bedding and bed linen. Ideal for 4 even if a separate toilet would have been a plus. The only downside during our stay was the very very low shower pressure in the hot water position while very good pressure in the cold water position. It's a shame but that's all we have to blame about the apartment. The recovery of keys by code box on the landing is practical and very simple. No waiting. Perfect stay.

    Valérie2019-12-16T00:00:00Z
  • Very pleasant apartment and perfect contact with the host. Close to the main city (around 15 min walk), sparkling clean, with all you need for vacation. The nice touch were maps of Dublin in apartment - I used them a lot. Nearby are shops, pubs, you can also prepare your meals at apartment because everything was so clean, that I wasn't afraid of using coffee maker. I really enjoyed staying there.

  • This is a brilliant place. The location is fantastic with a great view of the docks and surrounding area. It’s close to shops so everything really is within walking distance. As for the apartment itself it is immaculately kept, fantastic living room area and kitchen with all the amenities. The balcony offers a spectacular view. The host was absolutely brilliant and very helpful- very polite and welcoming. All in all I felt very much at home here and I would highly recommend this place!

  • Nice airbnb for a girl like me who is travelling alone. The area is super safe and close to the city centre and there is also a small supermarket around the corner. The view over the river Liffey is just fantastic and Elo was very kind, got the answers very fast, so the communication was good as well. Would suggest the airbnb to my friends and of course I would come back anytime - thanks Elo and Ibrahim!

    Attic Haven
My home is a terraced house built in the early 20th century. Deceptively spacious with high ceilings and open plan living area, it has recently undergone a complete renovation. A modern twist on a classic style. Wi-fi is available throughout the house
The neighbourhood is very residential, made up mainly of terraced houses with a handful of low rise apartment blocks. A couple of supermarkets, some small convenience shops, a petrol station, a chemist, beauty parlour, fish and chip shop and a cafe that serves great cooked breakfast completes the neighbourhood.
  • The attic space is really stylish and good value for Dublin. I had a very smooth and uncomplicated stay at Natalie’s place and everything was as described. As other reviewers have said, the attic is not ideal for tall people (I’m tall but knew what I was in for), but I really enjoyed staying there. The general area has decent amenities, with supermarkets and fast food very close, and it is possible to walk into town in c.30-40 minutes.

  • The hosts provide very homely and cosy accommodation. The location is convenient for walking to the major points of interest in the city whilst being in a quieter spot away from the bustling centre. An excellent place to stay.

    Maria2020-02-03T00:00:00Z

  • Natalie is a great host, the rooms are clean. You can book the place without any hesitation.

    Shaji2019-12-06T00:00:00Z
  • I had a really good time at Natalie's place! She let me check-in even if my flight arrived later than 11 pm. The communication was prompt. Please do really read the description properly! The ceiling is really low and you really have to go 2 floors down for the bathroom! I'm 1.6m and I could just stand up in the middle of the room. I had to duck down for changing. But I expected that. It's like being in a very charming tent! If you just need a bed for a few nights, like me, then it's the best place you can get for the best price! The neighbourhood was calm and seemed to be safe, I'm female and travelled alone and never felt insecure! The bus stop is about a 7 min walk away and it takes about 20-30 minutes to get into city centre. Thanks a lot!

  • The attic had a lot of natural light and good air circulation from the large windows, and the bed was very comfortable. The ceiling is quite low; I'm 5'4" and barely clear the highest point in the ceiling. There's a nice sized shower, but since the attic is two floors above the bathroom, it might not be a good place for someone who gets up during the night to use the toilet. There is an Aldi and a Lidl a couple blocks away, but restaurants are pretty sparse in the neighborhood. Public transportation to and from the airport is doable but not very convenient from this location. It's not that far to city center, about 10-15min by bus. Natalie herself is a wonderful host, very prompt with communication and very helpful with any questions or concerns. It's also a pretty quiet neighborhood, so if your trip is a slower more relaxed type of travel, this is a decent base for your visit to Dublin (I would recommend one of the other rooms at Natalie's place, the ceiling in the attic took much adjusting to).

  • The boy and his mother are super nice, understanding and super attentive. Thank you so much for everything!! :)

    Abby2020-03-26T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was good : the welcome, the breakfast and it was very clean. The flat is near a lots of bus, that is very useful to do to the city center. Ferenc and his mum are so kind.

    Mathilde2020-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • This is the best! Super clean and lovely hosting, as well as very central.

    Carl2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • Ferenc's home is one of the best places I have ever stayed in. I was given a warm welcome on arrival by Ferenc's Mum. I loved the cosy, warm, modern, spacious, sparkling, clean bedroom. It was so homely and comfortable. The toilet was easily accessible downstairs. There was a choice of bathroom upstairs and downstairs for people rushing to work in the morning. Ferenc provided a wide variety of breakfast foods to suit all guests' tastes and preferences. Ferenc and his family went over and above their duties as hosts to make me feel at home in their sparkling clean house. I would recommend Ferenc's home to all travellers. You will be assured of a prompt response when booking the accommodation. Ferenc and his family will make you feel very welcome in their home. You will enjoy the wide variety of breakfast foods provided. You will feel warm and snug in your bedroom. Indeed you will find it very difficult to leave behind such warm friendly hosts and their warm cosy and sparkling home. I will definitely stay in Ferenc's home again. I will recommend it to all my family and friends.

  • Collette space is very clean, warm and homely! We loved staying here! And...we received a wow ‘surprise’ greeting from Victor and Collette to ensure we settled in perfectly. It was so lovely and made our visit so easy! Collette sent us regular messages to ensure we arrived safely, with great directions for travel to/from the airport which was super easy. The apartment is literally 2 mins walk from the Tram stop which will take you to all the key tourist attractions in Dublin. If you want a lovely home from home to stay in whilst you are in Dublin. We highly recommend Collette’s Place.

  • Collette is the best of the superhosts.

    James2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Collette's place was fantastic. Location was close to Spar (supermarket) and restaurants. There is a tram outside the block of apartments and security was good too

    Maggie2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay at Collette's place in Dublin and would definitely stay there again. The courtyard is very quite and a nice tranquil respite from the city around it. It is also in a great location, just a 15 minute walk to the city center and lots of nearby cafes/bars. The bed was also very comfortable!

    Jessica2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • We arrived very late in Dublin due to a delay of our flight. Collette was there in time to pick us up and check us in, which we really appreciated. The apartment is super clean, with loads of hot water. Only 20 minutes away from city center by foot. As two young women in our early 20s visiting Dublin by ourselves for the first time ever, Collette made us feel a lot safer and prepared with her amazing advice and hospitality. Thank you Collette, we are definitely coming back to Dublin.

    Antigoni2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Apartment great. Location a 20 min walk to centre. We never bothered to use public transport. Quiet. Metro is close but not close enough to cause a problem. Shops and pharmacy close by.

  • Spotless! Good location. Easy check in and check out Really recommended

    Fanny & Florent2020-01-13T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed a wonderful stay here. The location is ideal for getting to all the hot spots and right next to the tram stop. The apartment is spotlessly clean and very cosy and comfortable, also very stylish. We would recommend a stay in Collette's place for anyone wanting a comfortable place in the heart of the city.

The location is perfect if you want to go in any place of Dublin, as the Luas is just behind the building, less than 5 mnt. The airport shuttle is very close! less than 10 mnt by walk. • Brilliant stay. We were made to feel very welcome by wendy who supplied some extra snacks and milk/beer etc. very nice touch. the apartment was very clean and well looked after. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay- especially the fireplace after a chilly day out in Ireland! Thank you!

    Tilly2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • A very cozy apartment, the best fireplace. Excellent service and a great hostess. It has everything you need to cook. We have been very satisfaced.

    Esther2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Great accommodation and host. Fairly central for all the attractions and city centre

    Ray2020-02-04T00:00:00Z
  • Warm elegance and sparkling clean! We had a wonderful stay. Sitting in front of a fire alongside the canal sipping coffee in the morning or wine in the afternoon was divine. And… I’ve now come to realize my life is not complete without a towel warmer. ;D Superb! Thank you Wendy! PS… Everything went smoothly because she orchestrated it that way. She’s a very gracious host even under stress. Initially the fireplace would not work. She had it resolved within 30 minutes. Spectacular! Thank you!!

    Pam2020-01-23T00:00:00Z
  • Staying at Wendy's was lovely! Both her and Malachy were kind and welcoming. They really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome our first time in Dublin. And the location is great. Just a short walk to the Luas station, and you can get anywhere you might want to go in the city! Absolutely would stay again.

    Silas2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is picture perfect for a stay in Dublin. It is just a short walk to Connolly Station and Busaras Central Station which made getting to and from the apartment easy. City center is also very accessible from the apartment – about a 20-minute walk with plenty of places to pop in along the way. As for the inside, the apartment was perfect. From the holiday decorations to the fireplace it was always a delight to come back from a long day of exploring the city. The kitchen was stocked with all the essential you could need for a meal or take out food from one of the great recommendations provided by Wendy. Finally, Wendy was a fountain of knowledge when it came to local sights as well as great recommendations for food. She greeted us when we arrived with hot scones and a tea. From start to finish she was the perfect host.

    Jesse2019-12-17T00:00:00Z
  • Wendy defines the quintessential host. The ideal combination of personal yet most professional. We had a great time talking about Dublin and the museums in particular. She truly thinks of everything and puts her entire self into the guest experience. The apartment is stunning – – a perfect combination of well-appointed and highly functional. We will definitely return to Ireland, in large part because of Wendy!

    Stephanie2019-12-10T00:00:00Z
  • Both Wendy and her home were unique and practical. She offered an early Check-in which was much welcomed after a long overnight flight and allowed us a quick nap and then a luggage free afternoon to explore. The fireplace and fresh scones were some of the highlights. Wendy was friendly and available but also out of sight in this shared entry suite so it felt appropriately private. The location was a bit removed from the City Centre, as described, but a very quick walk or train into the city (Wendy even have us Leap cards!). Wendy even went out of her way to suggest sights and excursions and offered to arrange a rental car. We would stay here again without question.

A newly decorated small double bedroom with a very small shower room next door that is exclusively for your use. The house is victorian so has some nice period features and you are welcome to use the kitchen, sitting room and garden. 15 minutes walk from the city centre
The bedroom is small and basic, with a double bed but is clean and cosy, there are drawers and hooks for clothes and luggage can be stored under the bed.
There are plenty of bars, restaurants and takeaways within a short walk of the house and there are 4 supermarkets within 15 minutes’ walk if you want to cook for yourself. We live in the inner city so the traffic on the road can be noisy if you usually live in a suburban or rural area, we do provide ear plugs in your room for you. The area is quite working class but has a certain charm and is beside Croke Park, one of the largest stadiums in Europe at 85,000 capacity. As with all cities, there is a certain level of caution that should be taken when walking around town. There are no significant safety concerns but you should take normal security precautions.
  • We were warmly welcomed into Eimhear’s home and family. The room we stayed in is cozy and the bed very comfortable. The kitchen is very big and fully equipped. Breakfast is also included. We had a great stay and would gladly stay there again.

    Jack2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely and more than warm family and atmosphere, a place where one can really feel himself at home. Strong suggestion : ask to take part to the kitchen courses, you will enjoy a taste of tradition, nice beers and a great meal.

  • 5*!!!

    Isabel2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at the Mocha Room, the hosts are very hospitable and kind. Breakfast is included (cereal, toast and fruits) and we were even given a bottle of wine (although we don't drink, so they gave us cider instead). The bed is very nice and the room is clean, although not very well insulated, so do bring warm clothes and thick socks in Winter. The bathroom is equally fine, but the main highlight is the location: the house is located within walking distance from the city and only one bus stop (plus a 1km walk) away from the airport. The hosts are incredibly kind and helpful, making great conversation and overall making us feel welcome. They were clearly trying to make our stay as nice as possible, and we appreciate that. Their son, Liam, is very kind and funny and even drove us to Phoenix Park and showed us the city, which was extremely nice. Overall, the price is completely worth it for the great location, and, whether for short or long stays, this is a great recommendation, as many other reviews can attest to. 5 stars!

  • Eimhear and her family are very friendly, flexible and available. The room is beautiful, very cosy! The house is 15-minute-walking away from the centre, in a quieter neighbourhood. Breakfast is really good and the kitchen has everything you'll need :)

  • Nice and comfortable room with small bathroom in a warm family house. Not far from Dublin centre (20 min walk, 10 min dublinbus), the mocha room is a perfect accomodation for two. Eimhear and her family are kind and friendly people, tipically irish... in their warm and big kitchen there is always delicious homemade bread! Thank you for everything, Sara and Andrea

The apartment is on the ground level.

Self contained basement apartment in an old Georgian house within walking distance of Dublin's City Centre. Close to Croke Park and not far from the airport with plenty of local pubs shops and restaurants as well as an award winning Community garden.
Built in 1848 this house is in a terrace of similar houses in an historic area within a 20min walking distance of our main thouroughfare O'Connell St and a short taxi ride from the airport and a two minute walk to Croke Park. Although close to the centre the house is in a quiet area. with our award winning community garden just behind the house. The basement is completely self contained along with it's own entrance. I have lived in Dublin all my life and am happy to assist with your itinerary.
I love my neighbourhood- it has a good mix of people from all walks of life but the architecture dates back to the Georgian period. There is plenty of history around here but also some good pubs and restaurants. Being so close to the city means we have all the options. We are also in walking distance to the sea at Clontarf. We have a great community spirit with our garden and other events organised locally.
  • What a great place to stay in, centrally located and a quick walk to all of the best spots in Dublin. Your own apartment at a very affordable price, and a fantastic host. We even went out and shared a few pints together and listen to traditional Irish music nearby, will definitely stay with Fionnuala's place again!!

The room and toilet wasn't very big, but everything we needed for at short stay was avaible. The common room with the livingroom and kitchen was nice and it was always nice and clean.

  • The place was in a perfect location to be able to explore the city! A short walk from the Luas into town and a very easy walk to O’Connell street which we chose when the rain held off! The room itself was super clean and was perfect for the two of us with the private bathroom! The communal area was a nice touch and had everything required if you did fancy having a meal in! Would 100% recommend this stay to anyone looking for a few days of exploration in Dublin.

Summerhill is a fabulous part of the Dublin. It is a very busy part of the north inner city. Our home is walking distance from the spire (one of the main meeting points in the centre of O'Connell street) and Temple bar. The apartment is located a 2 minute walk from a shop and pub if you get thirsty, which is very busy on a Friday and Saturday night. It is also a short walking distance from Croke Park, which is the biggest stadium in Ireland, this is were the national sports of Ireland are played, such as GAA and hurling. There are many nice cafes and restaurants in the vicinity which we can recommend for you.
  • Apartment for two, it is very complete and 20 minutes from the main tourist places. It is prepared for the cold !!! At first it was a little difficult for us to find the house, but once inside it is very good. We stayed for a week and we were very good.

  • Let me start by saying, this is hands -down the best room one can get for the money in Dublin! That being said as much as I appreciated the hotel-like quality of the lodging, the terraces (yes, there is more than one) and the views of the river Liffey, and the Grand Canal docks - the accommodation is far from being the best thing about this Airbnb. What really steals the show are the hosts - spending time with them was the real treat here. Lovely people and truly genuine characters I felt privileged to be in their company. We shared a meal, we sang, we laughed and told a story. On the accommodation - it is very conveniently located in one of the best and most expensive parts of Dublin. Short walk from the Airlink bus stop leading to and from the airport. Short walk from everything really. The perfect base for anyone to explore Dublin. The room is big, very suitable for a couple, and very clean. The flat offers a fully functional kitchen and there is a washing machine and a dryer which is important if you’re staying longer. The pictures don’t really do it justice, the flat’s ceilings are very high and the panoramic windows open-up the place to the riverfront with morning sunlight flooding in. Highly recommend staying here. I also owe a special thank you to the lovely and charming Giuliana who took care of me when I arrived there - thanks love :)

  • I loved staying in Alison’s home! I have never had a more welcoming experience or felt as at home as I did during my stay. I would absolutely stay again during a return trip.

    Dolores2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Alison is so warm and welcoming, I felt immediately at home. The room is as described and all that I needed for my short visit. Her home was easy to get to by car or walking in and out of town. I would definitely stay there again!

    Tara2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely little place, exactly as described. Alison is incredibly kind. If you plan on walking into the city centre, it's quite far away though, so you might want to hop on the tram to get there.

    Linda2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay at Alisons place. She was very welcoming, even though we arrived pretty late, she stayed up for us. She even had set the table for breakfast! She was there whenever we needed her and communication was great! She had loads of tips and stories! Definitely would go back again. Location is great as well! Quite neighborhood, close to the airport, walking distance from the city center.

  • Allison will treat you with kindness and it’s full of details. You will feel it like you’re in home. She left me some breakfast for the days I spent in there. The house is very well located, it has a market very near and it’s walking distance from nice attractions. Please book with Allison and you won’t regret!!!!!!

    Roberto Carlos2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Great experience -- I recommend.

    Tyler2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Alison was a great host. Nice room with own bathroom/loo. Handy forgetting into the centre and for airport bus service.

    Jeremy2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • I spent a full week here and rarely knew if I was alone in the house or if Alison was there. Alison was very prompt when answering my messages and always reminded me that there was food, coffee and juice in the kitchen. The room/house was always warm despite the weather outside being near freezing. I wisely purchased a 7-day LEAP card in the SPAR at the airport the moment I arrived and was pleased to discover the bus stops (departing and arriving) were less than an 8-minute walk away from the house with easy access to connections, the LUAS, and the DART trains so I never had to get an UBER or a cab. I would recommend Alison to anyone wanting to truly experience Dublin without worry.

Ground Floor Single Room with Single bed Bathroom is located on the same floor
Our home is a terraced house built in the early 20th century. Deceptively spacious with high ceilings and open plan living area, it has recently undergone a complete Wi-fi is available throughout the house
  • Natalie's room here is exactly as pictured, is in a safe and quiet location, and for visitors who do not mind a bit of a walk, only about 20-30 minutes from central Dublin. I was here for a work conference, and Natalie was incredibly accommodating to my morning arrival and safely kept my luggage on location for me until the official check in time. She is a great host, I would highly recommend and return to if I find myself back in Dublin. Thank you!

  • Very comfortable, clean bedroom and bathroom in a good location. Would recommend for any solo traveller for business or leisure. 15-20 minute walk to town and to Luas and DART stops. Natalie's communication was very quick. Very nice park nearby, with a great Asian street food place called Tuk 5 minutes away (highly recommend it!).

    Christian2019-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • I really enjoyed my stay at Natalie‘s house. It‘s located in walking distance of the city centre, but also close to public transport. I felt completely safe walking through the neighbourhood, even on my on late at night My room on the ground floor provided a comfortable bed, a wardrobe and a small desk with a chair. The bathroom was right next door and everything was very clean. I especially appreciated the effort Natalie made to make it possible for me to check in earlier, because I came to Dublin on an early flight. So I could rest a little bit before going into town – thank you Natalie !

A newly decorated small double bedroom with an en suite shower room. The house is victorian so has some nice period features and you are welcome to use the kitchen, sitting room and garden.15 minutes walk from the city centre
We recently built a small shower room within the bedroom so it is not as big as it was but gives you a bathroom of your own. There is space under the bed to store luggage
  • Fab place to stay. On the main road in to the city centre. Really nice and helpful host, in the midst of mass closures due to Covid, Eimhear suggested other great places to go and helped us to enjoy our time there.

  • AMAZING STAY! We were so warmly welcomed by the whole family. Everyone was so helpful with suggestions/directions. It was lovely to have such nice company- definitely a bonus we didn’t expect. Eimhear’s home made soda bread is Delicious- another wonderful surprise. Would absolutely stay here again.

    Kelsey2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • We came in later as our flight was late, and we were greeted warmly. The room was small but very cozy, one of the best beds I’ve ever slept in. Eimhear’s sons were so helpful in tipping us in places we should and shouldn’t go based on what we wanted to, as well as just making us feel at home. We had to extend our stay in Dublin a day due to traveling reasons, and we decided to book a hotel closer to the airport for our early flight, but we were offered to stay in the front room as the room we were in got booked for right after us. That being said, we were able to stay in the house until we were able to get to the other hotel. Overall an amazing stay and would stay there again if back in the area

    Taylor2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • We stay 3 night's in Elmhear house and they are wonderfully. Elmhear and her husband are very open minded. The breakfast was excellent and I feal nearly at home. The location is very good the bus line 123 is next to the door. So it's very easy to make a trip to the center of Dublin.

    Bernd Reinhard2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Eimhear's house is very good. All as is seen in the photos, even better than in them. The room is correct and the kitchen is huge. We stayed in winter, the heating is perfect and the water hot too. All the inhabitants of the house are super friendly and cordial always predisposed to give us a hand with everything we need. Eimhear is funny, kind, and cooks wonders. We have breakfast every day the homemade bread that we left there with different cheeses and coffee. The house is super well located 20 minutes walk from the main tourist points of Dublin. I strongly recommend and encourage everyone who reads this review to book without hesitation.

    Julian2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Eimhear’s place is amazing! The house is very close to city center and is also in front of a bus stop, so if you don’t to walk, is pretty convenient. The bedroom is warm, cosy, and very private. The breakfast is very abundant and they always have Eimhear’s delicious homemade bread! We had a wonderful stay, thanks to Eimhear and her family, everyone is so nice and gentil, and we were really sad to live. We had an amazing time, especially with Eimhear’s son, Liam, who thought us a lot about Ireland’s history and was a great company. They’re very welcoming and make you feel like home. We are very thankful for everything, and really hope to see you guys again!

A newly refurbished maisonette in one of Dublin's mature neighbourhoods in Dublin Dockland area, just minutes walk from the Spencer Dock Luas stop , the IFSC or a 20 minute walk to the city center if you prefer to stroll along the banks of the river Liffey. There are also supermarkets and cafes just up the street. Also nearby is the 3Arena , Croke Park, the Irish Convention Center and Bord Gais Energy Theatre.
My place is a welcoming homely place comprising of two double bedrooms, sitting room/diner and kitchen. All recently decorated sympathetically to its 1850's heritage.

  • This was my second time staying at Ferenc’s place and both were great experiences. I think this is probably one of the best places to stay in Dublin in terms of value. City center is not far and there are a couple cute cafes/restaurants just down the street. The spaces have always been clean and Ferenc and his family have always been welcoming. Both times I stayed there was a bit of noise around 10am, but it’s late enough it wasn’t a problem. Check in was great and they were flexible. I’ll likely stay again!

    Jasmine2020-03-04T00:00:00Z

  • Really great place to stay! His sister gave us lots of great tips for Dublin in detail. Check in and check out were easy. At breakfast there was really everything you wanted, from toast, muesli, spreads, teas, coffee, ... Arriving in the house later was no problem. In 15 minutes you were in the city by bus. The only negative thing to say was the uncomfortable mattress in our room. Since I can only speak for our room. Otherwise tip top! :)

  • First, i enormously appreciate to Ferenc. I strongly recommend this room. Ferenc was the best and kind. He did his best to make me fell comfy. He made everything is perfect. The room was very clean, tidy and there are two bathrooms. So i can use the bathroom when i want. And the location was good. Near by bus stop. If i visit to Dublin again, i would stay here. Brilliant (: It's not a hostel in Dublin city centre, but it was close enough to take a bus tour and it was easy to get around. And the house is clean and the host is super friendly! All I really need is everything, and it was only three days, but I was comfortable. I had breakfast and two bathrooms so I could use them without overlapping with others. If you're not in the city center and you don't have a problem and you're going to buy a bus card, here's a good one:

  • As the place is located at the heart of the city centre, almost everything on my itinerary was a short walk or bus ride away. Great value for a great location!

My house is a beautiful period property in a very quiet area. The area has an older age demographic but in the past 10 years houses like mine have been bought by young couples and city workers. It is a very desirable area to live as it is within walking distance to the city Centre and Financial Centre. It has a great park close by and the coast is a 10 min walk as you head into the area of Clontarf.
The house is split level, large bedrooms, high ceilings and tastefully decorated. The lounge area has 2 large sofas. There is a nice rear terrace from the kitchen to enjoy a coffee. There is an en-suite off the master bedroom and a large family bathroom. Kitchen is very well equipped.
Very close to IFSC , Croke Park, 3 Arena. 20 min walk to city Centre. Close to Clontarf area with coastal walks, bars and restaurants. Fairview Park beside the house with great kids playground. Lidl , Aldi , Starbucks and Mc Donald’s 10 min walk.
  • House was great for 2 couples ( or more). Had most everything we needed. Quiet street. Easy (5 min.) bus ride to city center. Great value for a 3 bed. property. Lots of groceries and restaurants nearby. Would stay there again.

  • Other than the beds being a bit dated, the unit is as described.

    John2019-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • The house is spotless clean and within easy reach of city centre it's a walk of around 25 to 30 mins but at the end of the street is the main road into Dublin City. Had no problem flagging down a taxi as they are running up and down the main road at all times. We would thoroughly recommend staying at Richard's place and will ne returning ourselves.

    Garry2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Richard provides a home space and is suitable in my opinion for each group category, the house is very well cleaned, the services offered inside are up to any expectation, simple and fast communications. The distance from the center is not a problem for those who want to walk, let alone for those who use vehicles that are less than 5 minutes from home and have an enviable frequency as well as choice of means. The council was one of the best experiences on Airbnb

  • Great location! Walking distance from main city center. Great clean space. Had a great stay! Would definitely stay again next time in Dublin.

  • Richard’s place was exceptional. He was accommodating to our request to arrive a few minutes early and we arrived to a charming, sparkling-clean home that was comfortable and warm. It worked wonderfully for the 5 of us, and the price was unbeatable. A bus stop is nearby and getting to Dublin city center was very easy. At the advice of a cab driver, we checked out the stunning town of Howth which was extremely accessible from this home’s location in the North Strand. I cannot stress enough how much we loved our visit to Howth, if you have the time to go, you will not be disappointed. There is a lovely restaurant there called Aqua that is right over the water, has excellent food and service and was a memorable place for our last dinner in Ireland. Each time we drove somewhere there was always street parking right in front of the front door when we returned. Being coffee-addicted Americans, we did miss having a coffee machine or a French press, but we made due with using a pot and steamer and paper towels to strain (nothing keeps us from our coffee). There was an electric tea kettle to heat the water. Seriously, not an issue for us, but just something to plan for if you require a cup of coffee first thing in the morning. Don’t hesitate to book this place, you will love it and will not be disappointed.

  • Richard was a very good host and made the booking arrangements and information easy to access. The house was cosy, well equipped and attractively presented. Very handy to public transport and the inner city. A great start to our Irish adventure! We thoroughly recommend this airbnb.

This one bed apartment is located in the very city centre. Less than 5 minutes on foot from O'Connell Street and about a 7 minute walk to the historic Temple bar. This 1 bed apartment is the perfect base for a trip to Dublin. Right beside Dublin's main train station, you are also spoiled for choice if you decide to venture outside the city.
Building: Apartment building Amenities: Professionally cleaned Hotel-quality high thread-count bed linen and towels 24/7 check-in Fully-equipped kitchen Living room: Sofa TV Dining table Kitchen: Oven Hobs Fridge / Freezer Microwave Dishwasher Washer / Dryer Bedroom: Double bed Storage Bathrooms Fully equipped bathroom with shower
Just North of the River Liffey and a short walk from historic O'Connell Street, this is the very heart of the city centre and the perfect location for anyone wishing to explore the city by foot. One of Dublin’s main shopping hubs is O'Connell Street (and its tributary, the ever-busy Henry Street), which culminates in a spearhead of excellent museums dotted around Parnell Square (most notably the Hugh Lane Gallery). To the west of here is the up-and-coming Smithfield and, further still, the vast Phoenix Park (also home to Dublin Zoo) while just across the bridge to the south is the formidable campus of Trinity College, with its ancient claim to fame in pride of place in the Old Library & Book of Kells. You have everything at your doorstep in the city centre and there's an exciting mix of cultures and ideas to cater for every whim you might have. Please take a look at the guidebook on my listing for recommended places to eat and drink in the area!
  • Very nice and pleasant stay. I stayed in there for 29 days in April. Excellent location, very good to work as there is a central table in the kitchen, their WiFi is very good too. Is deffo recommend.

  • Neat modern little apartment, very clean and in centre of town, the area itself isn't fantastic but very close to Fairview park and Clontarf coast which is so beautiful and it's right in the centre of town so super convenient. The trains are also right across the road so you can get anywhere very easily.Timothys team are very efficient and attentive which is great.

  • Timothy’s place was in a great location in Dublin. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed during our trip. There was a small problem with the hot water but we were able to resolve it very quickly. Impeccable communication! Would recommend if you’re traveling to Dublin and want to be within walking distance of everything!
