Cool spot. Sleeping situation is good for 2-3 max! Couples can have the queen bed and their is a cot + futon. Grab a few beers before hitting the sack and you’ll sleep well. A lot of bars and fun spots less than .25 miles away.

Great place to stay

Perfect for anyone wanting to spend a night or two in Louisville. It's in walking distance of pretty much anywhere downtown, such as the Yum Center or Fourth Street Live, so it's super convenient. One potential issue could be parking, but there were a few lots across the street that you could pay by the day for. The apartment itself was super clean and cozy. It was a little loud, especially because the bed is right beside the front door, which allowed us to hear the elevator every time someone would come up, but otherwise it was a great little place to stay in the middle of the city.

This is a very good place for 2 people to stay! The have a pullout couch and then an extra bed in the closet for extra people to sleep up! My boyfriend and I stayed there and it was the perfect amount of space for us. Very close to fourth street!

Booked for a night stay but could imagine being really comfortable there for an extended time. Heard trains and planes but wasn’t bothered, there are ear plugs provided if you need. I’ll keep this one bookmarked for a possible return!

This was such a wonderful airbnb experience! We were in town for a busy conference so we really appreciated having such a beautiful and relaxing place to come home to. The place looks just as pictured and it was so easy to navigate around Old Louisville and surrounding neighborhoods from this place--super easy parking, too!

Brent’s place was clean, safe, and a great location. We had no issues with check-in or check-out due to Brent’s descriptive instructions. We had a blast in Louisville!

Directions were very easy to follow to get to and into Brents place. Quite possibly one of the best instructions I’ve had to go to and get into an Airbnb. The parking was pretty annoying/expensive but that isn’t Brents fault it’s just part of being in a downtown area. The apartment was very nice, newly renovated and VERY clean. It was a great stay and I enjoyed the closeness to the downtown area it provides.

Brent’s place was perfect for our family of 4. Our kids are 9 and 12. And both slept comfortably on the sofa and fold-away bed. The main bedrooms bed is AMAZING! I have a memory foam at home and I’m often miserable when staying other places due to the bed. This bed was perfect! The space is small but has a good lay out and so we felt like there was plenty of space for us... way better then a hotel room! The kitchen although tiny was just what we needed to cook quick meals and stock the fridge for our 3 day stay. The only downfall and it’s really out of their control is the temperature. It was like 80° is due at 3am... and We all prefer to sleep at a cooler temp. But the buildings heat is controlled by the office and we couldn’t get the heaters to turn off as described in the directions he gave us. So maybe another fan for the main area and bedroom would be nice. It was like $42 a night maybe about $70 after Airbnb’s fees... totally worth it! Again Way better then a hotel and it’s fun being right in downtown. It’s a cool place and we’d stay again!

We came to Louisville to stay the week and this place was great! It's adorable, covered in exposed brick, extremely clean and close to great bars, restaurants and cafes. We would definitely stay again!

Perfect location for the Yum center and close to lots of cool bars and restaurants. The room is in a large older historic looking building and has been very nicely renovated into multiple residential units. The rental itself is super clean and nice with high ceilings, very open layout, tall windows overlooking the bustling restaurants and bourbon bars below. Overall a great value for the price, location, and accommodations. We are looking forward to coming back.

Hard to imagine there’s a better place to stay in the city! Loved it!

Beautiful space. Located next to amazing places to go grab a drink or dinner. Close to waterfront and yum center! If you love the night life you couldn't stay at a better place.

Loft-style, or a bit of a garret, in great shape. Not fancy, but has all you need, and everything works. If you're a walker, you're within about half an hour of some excellent food and drink. Joel's a friendly host, and staying at his place, you get to know a bit of Louisville's heart.

This is literally the 5 star value that I rated it to be. I personally love Old Louisville for its architecture. The location allowed me the ease into a horde of diverse, inner city acreage. Districts, if you will. One minute I’m tempting fate by trekking away from Shelby park, without Location services on. Ten minutes later I’m in the heart of German town, I think... I couldn’t seem to stop myself from adventuring out from this Centralized Hub from whence I matured. The space is described perfectly. This Artist Garret undoubtedly inspired the composer, creator... “Virtuoso” within. Joel was gracious enough to meet with me upon request. I would easily (GLADLY) spend a month in this Garret, given the importunity... opportunity...

It was a place to sleep and shower, obviously no tv but it did the job!

Nice space to yourself, was able to get sleep for work and even do some homework while I was there. The area is noisy (airport, train, and everyday life of the area) but nothing a sound machine or music can't drown out. Joel was quick to respond if I needed anything and friendly. I enjoyed my stay.

Read the description closely and you will have all the information you need to have a wonderful experience. There is a steep stairway. There are dogs. it is close to an airport. You have to park on the street. If you prepare for these things, you will have a wonderful stay. I have absolutely no regrets... Looking forward to my next time in Louisville. God bless.

Cool studio that's close to all the downtown entertainment and restaurants.

Mitchell did not have a coffee maker but left tea and instant coffee. I cannot live without coffee so it was a nice touch. The other reviews mentioned the ear plugs and sound machine to accommodate the level of noise from the below bar. I did not find the bar noise bothersome, but it was a nice touch for guests that could be sensitive to sound. Those thoughtful touches really made it feel homey, and made it a great stay. It was so close to downtown Louisville, which is why we chose this location. He says there is a bus we could've taken be we opted for an Uber which was $6 each way before tips, which was also nice. This was a great stay and if I were to ever need a place close to downtown Louisville again, I would check Mitchell's place first for availability.

Great location, easy walk to lots of good restaurants. Very clean. If you're looking for peace and quiet though, you should keep looking. The bar downstairs is super loud, which we expected after reading the other reviews. It was good for us for just one night.

Great studio - very clean with the amenities I needed. As mentioned before, the overnight noise in the building can be loud, but he does provide earplugs and a good noise machine by the bed. Parking spots out front were fine for me with even for overnight parking (no parking tickets given). There is a great coffee shop down the street. Good area. Overall recommend this space!

I had a a great overnight stay here! Their communications were prompt and directions were spot on. Getting into and out of the condo was simple. I liked the close, free parking. The place itself is very comfortable and clean. I appreciated the nice shower. Would not hesitate to come back in the future.

Terrific place to stay right in the heart of the Nulu action. Really easy check-in. The unit is small but very sufficient. Really nice small touches. Bathroom is beautiful. Walkable to lots of great breweries, restaurants, and distilleries. Will definitely book again when we come back to Louisville.

The Bourbon Nook is a cozy, stylish space right in the middle of the NuLu area. It was close to lots of fun restaurants, coffee shops, and shops. The space itself had everything I needed and the hosts included several helpful touches such as water bottles by the beside, a suitcase stand, and an extra blanket. The hosts were quick to respond and gave really, easy clear directions. I would happily stay here again!

If you're headed to Louisville, this is a perfect spot for a fun and romantic getaway. The room is great, the location is awesome, and Scotty and Mo were terrific hosts.

A great space in a really great location! We loved the style of the space, especially the bourbon barrel wall. You really can't beat the location though, everything you need is right down the stairs!

The Tiny Little House is indeed tiny but it's very comfortable and well-equipped. It was a perfect place to stop overnight on our way to Alabama and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It's right off the highway and it was a treat to have dinner at the nearby Cracker Barrel. Before setting off in the morning, we were able to log a geocache a short walk away. We highly recommend it and would certainly want to stay again if passing through.

We had a most restful stay at this little cottage half way between Ontario and Florida. It had absolutely everything we could need. Our host was there to greet us when we arrived, welcoming our two little gigs too. This is why we prefer a BnB to a hotel - privacy, convenience, value for our dollar and a genuinely friendly host.

Dakota’s tiny home was a great spot for us! If you need a ton of space this might not be for you, but if you love finding unique spaces with a ton of charm and all the necessities—you’ll love this spot! This space was very comfortable, charming and super clean. Our only regrets are that we weren’t able to enjoy the little outdoor private space because the weather didn’t agree with us. We definitely recommend. Thank you!

Easy to find and great little place for a quick trip to Louisville

We enjoyed our stay. Very clean inside. Very basic inside, but it fit our needs perfectly. I can see why some people commented about the location of the neighborhood, but we had absolutely no problems at all. Overall, a very good experience.

The house is a perfect size for anyone in town with a family of four or for a weekend with friends. Both of the bedrooms are big enough for one person or a couple to use. The kitchen has all sorts of amenities to use that not many other hosts would have available (from a refrigerator/freezer with ice, to a few cabinets with food for cooking). The bathroom is also a great size—not too small—and offers extra soap, shampoo, and towels in the closet. The host also has cameras placed outside the house to make sure it is safe from any outside forces. There about 3-4 parking spaces on the street (depending on the size of your vehicles). As far as location goes, you are walking distance from Churchill Downs and about a 10-minute drive or Lyft/Taxi/Uber ride from either downtown or Baxter Ave/Bardstown Rd restaurants. Overall, my stay was wonderful. I highly recommend this to anyone going to Louisville for a family or weekend trip.

I had some difficulties checking in using the key code provided but the host was able to fix the issue immediately. Such a great part of a lovely city. I wanted to mark the place down for accuracy only because it was so much bigger than I expected! Lots of keypad and lockbox numbers to navigate but once you’re in you might, like me, wish you were staying a week. I would definitely stay here again if/when I’m back in town.

We were unable to stay the night at this location due to emergency circumstances, but prior to our stay, the host was very communicative and thorough with their instructions on how to access the parking / suite.

We had a nice stay at Mark's place in Louisville. The bed room was very clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The rules of the airbnb were really clear and some recommendations were added to enjoy your stay in Louisville with local addresses. We didn't get the chance to meet our hosts as we arrived late and left early, but we were still well welcomed !

Mark was a great host. The space was great. Specifically, I enjoyed the plants everywhere and the mattress pad - very comfortable. Mark was available, but not stifling, yet still responsive. I would definitely stay again. The space was also well situated to Bardstown Road's bars, restaurants and shops The neighborhood of Germantown was also unique and cool.

Great location, fun decor, comfy bed. The hosts left some local snacks, too! Check in was super easy and parking on premises is a plus. The bikes included were nice, but I'm not an experienced rider and I'm pretty short - they were too big for me to ride comfortably.

The studio is super cute and clean! Although there's no stove top for longer stays, the fridge and microwave were perfect for our 2 night visit in Louisville. There are plenty of restaurants nearby too. The bed is sooo comfy! One of the bikes had a flat, and the owner immediately brought us a replacement- but after biking the hills at Cherokee Park, it might have been better to skip that adventure. *still sore* The bikes were quality & the ride was fun though. Being in such a central location did mean there was a little bit of traffic noise, but the house is pretty far back from the major, so it wasn't enough to keep me awake. With the bed being so comfortable, no car passing really bothered me. All things considered, I would definitely stay again on our next trip to Louisville.

This space is very nicely decorated and spotlessly clean! There was more than enough space for myself and my partner, and it was located less than 10 minutes from everywhere we wanted to go. Being able to park in a garage was an added bonus compared to other AirBnBs as well. I don’t think that this place should be considered “self” check in, since we had to wait on the host to open the door for us to get in. It was also a bit hard to find and probably would’ve been extremely difficult at night, but we came during the day so it turned out fine. The first time we arrived they didn’t notice our text asking us to be let in so after ten minutes we left and then just returned a few hours later. They did apologize for that though! The hosts were extremely nice over text and sent over multiple local recommendations for us to consider. If you’re looking for a very private, clean space I would recommend this!

Karen and Bryan’s place is awesome. It’s beautifully decorated, thoughtfully laid out, and full of charm. The location can’t be beat, either! I would highly recommend staying here.

Karen and Bryan's place is a class example of what an excellent Airbnb should be all about. The place is charming, well-thought-out, and very accommodating. It has everything you can possibly ask for. This place exceeded my expectations and the place is better than the pictures. Karen and Bryan are amazing hosts - very responsive, hospitable, and courteous. I need to come back to Louisville a couples more times, I'm definitely booking this place again. Highly recommended!

We weren’t there for long, but enjoyed our stay

I value quiet and privacy and this guest house offered both. It has a great bedroom, nice hot water for a great shower and a cute living room. The host responded promptly and was very nice. Would recommend :)

It was very beautiful and relaxing. It was a great experience and she was very communicative and helpful!

My second stay and it was every bit as enjoyable as the first. I love the privacy and the quietness of this cozy apartment. I highly recommend staying with Maidelin but selfishly, I also want it to be available when I’m in Louisville. Also...if you are particular about where you park your car you will love the huge parking space at the entrance to the apartment.

Justin’s lofts are in a great location. Plenty of restaurants to choose from and a short walk to the KFC Yum center. I like that there is a Starbucks next door in the Seelbach Hotel and we discovered a Catholic Church around the block. We will definitely be back.

First Justin’s place is great. Great location, clean, easy parking etc. When staying in Louisville again I will check on Justin’s properties first when considering based on our stay. Justin personally cleaned our unit early so we could check in early. He provided easy steps to follow to check in and park. Great communication and amazing place to stay. If you are considering this place go ahead and book you won’t be disappointed.

This place is outstanding. The pictures do not do it justice. It was perfect for us and we will definitely book again when we are back in Kentucky. Justin was a great host, very responsive, and the place had amazing touches. I loved the decor and location as well as the perfect instructions Justin shared with us. If we could give it 10 stars we would!

Great location. Home like feel. Even folks with children will find a toy box to keep kids entertained. Clean & comfortable & everything you could ever need/want in this adorable apartment.

Space was super clean! My favorite spot was the bedroom. Beautiful lighting and comfy cozy feel. Second favorite part would have to be the clawfoot tub. Loved every bit of it!

Wonderful downtown location, very close to many activities & restaurants. Easy check in. Beautiful roof view. Nice stay for a weekend. Parking in garage next door is convenient at an additional cost.

You can't beat the location. It's a clean, comfortable and modest unit. If you're coming to town to just enjoy the city, it's the perfect place to start and end your day, particularly if you're not trying to hide from your getaway. The view on the roof is also really nice.

Brent’s place was clean and had everything we needed for a quick, one-night stay. I wasn’t crazy about the bed being only a couple feet away from the door but we didn’t hear much noise from the neighbors or hallway. We’d stay again.

Great having a full kitchen! Bed was very comfortable and was walking distance to everything we needed.

Brent's place was an easy walk to the Mercury Ballroom and 4th Street. It is a simplistic studio and was clean and easy enough to figure out. It could use a few upgrades and homey touches. And was missing a few light bulbs. Reminded me of a bachelor pad, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Over all it was a clean place to lay our head down after a concert and the check out process was simple. Parking (which is not in Brent's control) was expensive in my opinion. We arrived at 4 pm and left at 830am and were charged $15 in the garage. Wish there was a better option for that. The view on the roof really was neat. That was our favorite part by far. The building itself looks like it could use a facelift, but overall the people were kind and it did the job!

We had a great stay! It was an amazing location close to everything and pretty quiet. It was also clean and wasn’t the biggest space but very cozy and homelike. Very clean and stylish too. 10/10 would recommend to friends/family!!!!

The space is actually much bigger than I anticipated, and beautiful decorations throughout the whole area. We also felt very secure in the building the suite is located in. Not to mention the view was wonderful! Overall, a very fun and amazing experience.

Location, Location, Location. Great food and entertainment are within a short walk from this spacious and well decorated loft. The checkin directions could not be more detailed. Charlesy and Tori checked in daily to make sure we had everything we needed. We were even notified as soon as the cleaners finished cleaning that we could check in earlier than anticipated. We would definitely stay again.

Had a wonderful stay at Maggie and Andrew’s place! It’s in a great location close enough to all the hot spots. They were extremely helpful in their recommendations and responded promptly with any questions we had. The triple locks made us feel very safe and the room was extremely cozy and comfortable; the local brochures in the room were a nice touch. Due to some unexpected weather we arrived pretty late to the room and they were extremely understanding and sympathetic to the situation. Highly recommend the stay for anyone visiting Louisville as it’s affordable, safe, convenient and charming. Thank you again!
