Situated in a rural location with amazing walks on your doorstep. Our local town amenities are within a 2mile walk or 5minute drive. There are many tourist attractions near by that can either be reached by car, bus or train. This accommodation offers something for everybody.

Camping pod in western lakes

Our cosy pod sleeps 2 adults comfortably but could sleep 3 adults or 2 plus 1 young child. Pet friendly. Inside the pod is a double bed, a single futon mattress, kettle, toaster and oil filled radiator, carpeted floor, black out curtains. no bedding is supplied. The pod is small but cosy. The onsite games room provides extra space. Based on our working farm with panoramic views of local fells and Skiddaw. We have 3 camping pods all sited for guest privacy but could all be hired by friends.

It is in a rural setting about 4 miles outside the market town of Cockermouth but is actually located in the Lake District National Park with stunning views over the fells, Binsey, Skiddaw, Bassenthwaite Lake and Keswick. The lodge has been designed to make the most of those idyllic views and is a retreat for anyone wanting to relax, unwind and enjoy our “world Heritage” status.
