Spacious, comfortable and cosy cottage in a great location for visiting all the sights around this part of Argyll, especially the many prehistoric monuments in the area. Good pub food within a mile of the property. Jenny was a great host - welcoming and friendly.

My husband, dogs and I have probably stayed in 30 different cottages in the past few years. Honestly this is in my top 3.. maybe even the best. Why? The location, quiet, gorgeous, stunning walks. The garden, totally dog friendly. The kitchen was well supplied, and a breakfast pack. Owners around but not intrusive. Top tip go to the fishmongers in lochgihead (tues - sat) for some top notch seafood.

A lovely homely cottage, as described. Location is stunning, up on the hillside with walks from the door. The whole area is great for walking and relaxing. We enjoyed our stay.

The property at Kilmartin is a rare find. Modern convenience and comforts in an older traditional property- a great mix. Good quality and well maintained house, decor and facilities, a welcome pack of local produce really helped to keep us going on arrival until local shopping. The property sits Right on top of, yet secluded from, some of the best examples of Neolithic and early historic monuments and rock art - if ancient history is your thing - you’ll find no better place to base yourself than here. I’ll def be back for more! A real home from home…
