Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Suffolk

Sophie and Nick made us feel right at home with their easy, friendly manner. (Nelly, the dog, was very friendly too!) We were greeted on arrival and shown to our accommodation which was as described, spacious and lovely and clean. The beds were comfortable and the shower lovely and refreshing. Nothing was too much trouble. We booked a table for an evening meal at The Weeping Willow in Barrow - 2miles away - on Sophie’s recommendation, which was excellent. (Nick even offered to give us a lift there!) Mind you, Nicks cooked breakfast in the morning was equally as good, and fresh strawberries accompanied our cereals too. We all left feeling relaxed, and well fed! Would highly recommend this place.

We went to a wedding very close to Anna-Louise's lovely property and we absolutely loved staying here. We immediately felt at home here. Anna-Louise was very warm and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. We were very impressed with how flexible Anna-Louise was and she made sure we got to the wedding in good time and made sure we knew were we going. We woke up to an absolutely lovely breakfast (one of the best I've enjoyed in an AirBnb). Lots of coffee, fruit and a perfectly cooked breakfast. The location is absolutely stunning. We woke up to a lovely view of the countryside outside our window. Seriously can't recommend this place enough. We're already looking forward to going back. Thanks Anna-Louise for a lovely time.

This was our second stay and we had a very nice relaxing time again, greeted on arrival with delicious tea and cake and made to feel very welcome. We had a fantastic meal on the first night cooked by the very talented Louise and a beautiful cooked breakfast each morning, highly recommend place to stay and hopefully we will come again.

Great house, lovely host and delicious breakfast

Every year we come and stay near Halesworth to visit family. We must have tried 8 different B&B’s but finally we have found one we love. Hall Farm is the most idyllic place to stay - beautiful house and gardens and very friendly and helpful hosts - and a delicious breakfast with homemade jams and eggs from their chickens. We will be back next year!

Wonderful old property, plenty of old exposed beams and leaning walls. Full of character better than a travel lodge anytime. Terry and Lynn are great hosts, very approachable and live on site. They seem to have worked hard to mitigate the problem of covid and social distancing. Rooms are now self contained. Breakfast no longer served but cooking facilities and supplies (eggs cereals, milk etc.) are left in the room. Dog friendly, some good walks (with rabbits) just a few meters from the garden gate. The lovely town of Long Melford is just up the road.

I enjoyed my last minute stay. Sian is very helpful and communicative. Even though I had some issues unable to check in a bit late, Sian was beyond helpful in making sure I'm in and comfortable.

Fantastic location with stunning views coupled with a lovely place and attention to detail meant we had a very restful stay. Kate is a great host!!

Clementine made our family feel very at home, including kindly let us stay past the check out time and play in her little girl's playroom. She was also very accommodating and made vegan friendly bread for breakfast which was very kind of her. It is a beautiful old building well situated in the middle of the town, the room and beds were very comfortable.

Lovely, clean, cosy room and bathroom. Sally was friendly and accommodating. Great breakfast with plenty of choices.

We had lovely stay at Billeaford Hall! Mark and Jan were incredibly welcoming and made every effort to make us comfortable. Whilst social distancing was observed and everything had been set up meticulously to follow the guidelines we were still able to enjoy really tasty breakfasts and our hosts were on hand to give us local knowledge and advice. Thank you!

Sandra and Piers were such welcoming hosts to a lovely B&B. We've stayed in quite a few over the years but this by far has to be one of the best! It was lovely to be able to take our dogs in too and have plenty of space away from busy roads to take them a walk. As we were staying for a horse competition, we normally don’t have time for breakfast but the cereal and homemade bread, jam and honey was just perfect and set us up for the day, such a lovely touch. The Mill itself is beautiful and the living spaces and bedrooms were clean and spacious and beautifully presented. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Stevie was very welcoming and a very interesting character to talk to. The accommodation was clean and tidy and felt very much at home. Whenever there was a slight problem it was sorted quickly, without fuss. The surrounding area is beautiful and would thoroughly recommend a stay at Stevies’s.

A gorgeous peaceful house with a gorgeous host! Aly was super responsive and attentive, whilst also being very chilled out which made us feel right at home. The house is so cosy and unique, with Fozzie her beloved pooch co-host around for breakfast belly rubs which was a particular highlight for us :) we loved our weekend stay!

This place is heaven. We loved everything: the extra pillows that made our sleep so comfortable, the soft sheets, the small towels, the delicious homemade cookies that greeted us in the room, and the amazing English breakfast that we looked forward to every morning. Everything was pure perfection and thoughtfully planned to the last detail. We couldn't have asked for a better holiday, all thanks to John and Michael's exceptional efforts and warm hospitality. Your personal touches made our stay unforgettable. Thank you so much for hosting us and making our holiday so special!

Staying at Tim's house was truly special. From the moment he welcomed us into his beautifully decorated home we felt so comfortable. Our bedroom was just amazing with everything you could possibly need plus extras that were very much appreciated. Tim is a wonderful host and he treated us to the most spectacular breakfasts. Although the house is within easy walking distance of the town centre it was very quiet. We can't recommend Tim highly enough and we would love to come back.

Beautiful area, beautiful house, beautiful room, beautiful lady. Wendy really couldn’t do enough. From the get go she was comfortable to get on with and friendly and knowledgeable. I felt so at home with Frank the dog watching over me the whole time! ‘Make yourself at home’ she said. I did and it felt like home in more ways than one. Fabulously decorated throughout, tastefully planned, easy parking, I would definitely stay again. Thank you Wendy xx

Caroline and Rob are wonderful hosts that go above and beyond for their guests , they are friendly and welcoming and are happy to help with any issues. We stayed at their place while attending latitude festival which is conveniently only 10 minutes away . Communication with Caroline was excellent from the moment we booked . She very kindly let us checking in early so we could get ready for the festival . The house is in a quiet charming neighbourhood , the garden is beautiful with the most stunning views over the fields. The room where we stayed was very quiet , we had a much needed good night sleep. Great Airbnb experience, highly recommend to anyone visiting beautiful Suffolk.

I cannot recommend staying here more. Its such a lovely place. Lovely area- lots of places to visit nearby. Unfortunately the Yurt was closed but Priscilla recommended the Westleton crown down the road (<5 min drive). Its very good value for money. Priscilla made our stay lovely and was very flexible. She put out a lovely breakfast included in the price. Its such great value. I cant think of any flaws. Thanks Priscilla!
