Airi's place looked even better than the pictures to be honest. It was a super nice house with plenty of space. The bathrooms were really nice and quite large the rooms were wide and clean which was very refreshing. Everything was very clean and the lighting was great. The heated floors all over the house was also an awesome feature you won't find really anywhere else and I was super excited and happy about that too. Plus anything I needed the hosts responded within minutes and that was great. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in the area in the future. Thanks again!

Our stay in Masaki's house was absolutely perfect for our 2-week holiday in Tokyo. It is an older-style Japanese house that feels very special, while also having all the modern amenities to make it very comfortable. We stayed in this house as a family of four (our kids are 9 and 14) and it was ideal for our needs. The location is perfect if you want to stay somewhere a little quieter than central Tokyo, but want easy access to everything the city has to offer. The train station is only 5 minutes walk, and everything Tokyo has to offer can be enjoyed from this location. The immediate area has so much to enjoy as well. Inokashira Park is beautiful and a lovely respite after a day of being in the crowds of central Tokyo. Kichijōji is about a 15 minute walk (or a short train ride) away, and has amazing shopping and food. Masaki is a very responsive host, and I felt very well looked-after during our stay. Really I can't say enough good things. Highly recommended!

Love staying here. Feels right at home. Everything is super clean and Kim was very helpful and such a great host, with fast responses and actions. Kim definitely took the extra step and service for her guests. The place is spacious with every furniture near brand new. My family and I definitely loved the laundry/ dryer machine 🤩🤩 it’s amazing and allow us to not worry about not enough change of clothing’s. Kim is super friendly and will help you in any way she can, not limited to restaurants recommendations or closest transport to Shinjuku or even given visual directions to help you find the closest supermarket. She made traveling with a big group of family a breeze. Thank you Kim, will definitely stay again next time I’m in Tokyo.

Close to train station, the house is very nice and quite big compared to most hotels in Japan

We stayed at Maki's place for a couple of weeks and the house is just perfectly identical to the pictures, or even better! Had a lovely time there, the neighbourhood is super cute and there are a lot of options to eat out close to home. Well connected through transportation. Maki is responsive and very helpful. Would go back any minute tbh! Thank youu <3

Small but comfortable accommodation for two, in a very nice neighborhood with a theme that seems to be cats for shops and decorations, and a small street of very cute little restaurants and bars. Rinrin was very friendly and always ready to help in English or Japanese. I had read in compentaries that the stairs were very narrow, but they were normal. Kitchen level, we had a microwave and a kettle, so I would not recommend if you want to make your own kitchen, perfect if you prefer to eat out and enjoy good Japanese food, or if combination meals or instant noodles suit you. The shower in our room was separate from the toilet/sink, it was perfect, the only problem was the lack of hot water at times. In our bathroom there was an ideal nook to store large suitcases, and we only kept the small one handy with the things we would need for the stay.

Recommended for fans of Harry Potter. You can walk to the tour in about 7 minutes, and the interior of the room is full of Harry Potter goodies. The host is kind and quick to respond. I also recommend the cafe you run together. The coffee tastes good and the beans are recommended for a good scent, so I bought them well. If I come around later, I'll come again.

We had a pleasant stay! The place is very nice and clean. It is very near the train station and walkable to Skytree! The host is very responsive.

The property was centrally located to multiple JR and subway lines and was easily walkable to any of the stations in 10 minutes or less. The property was extremely clean and perfect for our party of two couples. Having two toilets makes all the difference. The surrouding community was quiet and residential with small local restaurants and two supermarkets, a 100 yen store, and a laundromat. Multiple conbinis within a 5 minute or less walk. Host was always in communication and always offered great support. Would definitely stay again! Thank you!

C welcomed us very nicely and helped carry suitcases. He asked me if we needed anything, if everything was okay and helped with sending suitcases. The place has all the necessary things and the location is great. I can only recommend this accommodation.

The location is underground, don't worry about carrying your luggage, the sound insulation is poor at night, often listening to the footsteps upstairs, making it difficult to sleep. It doesn't have a TV, it doesn't have a window. The location is convenient, and it takes 8-10 minutes to go to Asakusa.

The house is small and nice. Most of the space is for the bedroom / living area, with a bit for the kitchen and the last bits for a nice toilet and bath. It is located very close to tachiaigawa station, but can take a bit of time to find (if you don't spot the sign saying "otres apartment") as Google maps might bring you down the neighboring street as you can get closer to the pin that way. Due to the proximity to the train station there is a bit of background noise from the trains when they arrive, but it is low enough that you usually won't notice. The house temperature fluctuates quite a bit based on the outside temperature, but it has an effective AC unit that deals with in easily, making it comfortable no matter the weather. As for Josh, he was an amazing host. We only met him once, but he was very helpful and answered fast when messaging him. We would give him 10/5 stars if that was possible.

Masa and Yuma were excellent hosts who responded quickly and clearly to all our messages. They provided a thorough guide outlining everything available in the home, along with helpful instructions in case anything unexpected came up. Overall, we had a great stay—highly recommended hosts, a lovely neighborhood, and a very comfortable place to relax!

The host is extremely responsive. House is clean, has plenty of rooms and space, the beds are comfy, and it has nice bathrooms and shower amenities. The house is about a 10-15 minute walk from 3 different stations on 3 different lines (including a JR line) which makes it relatively straight forward to get to almost anywhere in Tokyo. From there it's anywhere from 10-30 mins to get to some of the more popular places. At night it's pretty quiet, but there is a small but vibrant strip (especially during the day) just outside with shops and a few places to eat all the way along to the Kamegome Station. There's also not many tourists, which gives it a nice local feeling.

Definitely a great place to stay when travelling to Tokyo, it is away from the hustle and bustle of the city and you can enjoy the calm and chill moments with your family. There are a lot of good restaurant around for breakfast and dinner, and you have access to all 3 convenience stores, Lawson, 7-11 and Family mart just within 3mins of walking. JR/Subway station is just within 5mins walk.

The space was large and just as described. We enjoyed how close to 2 different train stations the home was. Clean and tidy- would definitely stay again in the future.

We came to Tokyo for the first time, the accommodation was very good, the host is very welcoming, there is a bus nearby, there is a subway station about 15 minutes on foot, convenient transportation, recommended to stay!!

Review: I recently stayed at this Airbnb in Japan and had a great experience overall. The house itself was beautiful—spotlessly clean, very spacious, and had an excellent shower. It truly felt like a relaxing retreat after a day of exploring. The location was peaceful and quiet, which was perfect for unwinding. However, it’s worth noting that there weren’t many convenience stores nearby, and the walk back from the train station involved a pretty steep hill. That said, the surrounding area was charming, and the tranquility made up for the effort. If you’re looking for a calm and comfortable place to stay and don’t mind a bit of walking, this is a great choice!
