Monthly Rentals in The Cairnwell

Lovely home just off the main road in Braemar. Directions were spot on and it was very easy to find. Easy to make myself at home. Kitchen was well stocked and there's a shop and restaurants within 5 minute walk. Great communication from Richard & Marilyn in the week before my trip. Would definitely return for another trip.

The Bothy is a wonderful place for both r&r and as a base to explore the wilds of Scotland. It’s incredibly peaceful, cosy, and well located. There are plenty of walks that leave from the front door, as well as some beautiful longer walks a short car ride or cycle away. Susannah was a wonderful host and kept in touch which was much appreciated. Definitely stay here if you can!

This was such a unique stay and we loved every minute! Being in an old church, the accommodation has so much character and is well equipped for a long or short stay. It’s right at the entrance to town, and it is literally across the street from many pubs, restaurants and the incredible Fife Arms Hotel (try the whisky room). There’s also a gas station two seconds away which was super helpful. The unit was a little chilly but would heat up quickly. Overall, we would absolutely stay here again if ever back in Braemar!

We had a really lovely stay! The space was really nicely laid out with everything you could need and more. Loved the special treats of popcorn and crisps for movie night. The bed was the comfiest we have ever stayed in and the shower was one of the best we have experienced. Really recommend staying here - especially for a wedding in the area or for exploring perthshire.
