The Cabin is a great place to stay and use as a base to explore all corners of Skye. The Cabin itself is perfect for two people - well-designed open plan living space and a very comfortable bed. Plenty of hot water for a shower and responsive heating if needed. Well-equipped kitchen with most things you'd need. Plenty of parking space but it is down a steep drive way. The views of the cabin aren't bad but there is another property directly between it and Loch Portree. Easy walk into town (less than 30 minutes) along the main road.

Perfect place for a quiet peaceful retreat. Maggi made us feel very welcome and was really helpful during a storm related power outage with hot water for drinks. The hut is small but very efficiently kitted out with all the essentials. Amazing pillows and a very warm cozy duvet make this place perfect even during colder nights. The chickens on site also supply the best eggs for all your eggy needs during your stay. The two large hounds are also very friendly and always asking for a little cuddle. The hut is quite remote and off the track but Maggi’s instructions made it very clear how to find it.

We had a lovely overnight stay en route to Harris Island but would have been very happy to stay for a longer visit. The view from the house is gorgeous.

very nice host, totally uncomplicated. very cozy van. sheeps grazing in front of you and you have total peace there. heating and warm water was no issue.
