The cottage was wonderful and we loved our stay! If you’re on the taller side you’ll have to duck to get into the shower, and it is right above a train line so if you’re a light sleeper bring ear plugs but the walls are so thick you can hardly hear! Does get a bit cold but the log fire helps, we would definitely recommend x

We visited the cottage for a long weekend as we love the Borders. From first communication with Lowry I knew we would not be disappointed. The cottage was so lovely, peaceful and beautifully furnished. It was not like a holiday cottage at all it was definitely like a home. The garden was amazing and our dogs absolutely loved it. The welcome pack was extremely generous and thoughtful and along with other luxurious touches like bathrobes it did make the visit one that stood out. The pub across the road was really nice and it was a pleasant surprise just how lovely it was when we walked in. My partner said several times he could live in the cottage and wondered if they would sell it to us! We would love to return. Thank you x

trish was a great host, she was very friendly and gave us a welcome package which including a few breakfast essentials and a bottle of wine which went down a treat. cottage was spacious, very clean and felt at home. great location just outside berwick upon tweed, very quiet and easy to find. great value for money would highly recommend and would go back again.

Only a short stop but they couldn’t do anymore to make us feel at home! Offering breakfast and trying to accommodate us in all ways possible! Would stay again!
