Lovely place to stay, with plenty of room. Handy location that is close to amenities but not right in the middle of town. Friendly and helpful host.

Its a beautiful house. Host was so very friendly and helpful. House is spotless , clean and well decorated. Everything was just perfect and we felt like a home.

This was an amazing place for us to stay as an extended family. There were nine of us, plus two dogs, and we rented the Doocot and the Lodge in the grounds. It is located right up in the hills and was blissfully remote yet easily accessible to the A90 to Perth and Dundee. The house itself was very comfortable and exactly as described. The sitting room was amazing with its enormously high ceilings, plenty of squishy sofas and a piano. There was also a Smart TV. For us, the best feature was the enormous dining table which easily seated us all and could have taken several other people too. We had lovely meals together all round the table. It was really memorable. The bathrooms were clean and new. The roll top bath was lovely and super to soak in. Check in, host communications etc were all super easy and they even helped us to have a hot tub ready for our arrival from Fife Hot Tub Hire. All in all, would highly recommend to people looking for a comfortable break away in the hills.

We booked this house for a joint 70th birthday present to our parents and stayed with people aged between 1-70. It met all our needs well and the house is lovely and warm with good bathrooms, spacious kitchen and wonderful outdoor space.

We had a great stay at the house. Everything was nice and clean and it has a front garden that gets the sun all evening which was nice to sit out in. Short walking distance to the centre of Oban too. Highly recommend!

An outstanding property in terms of location, style and comfort. Furnishings of a high standard and befitting the period character of the house. Enjoyed watching the changing patterns of weather from the comfortable indoor and outdoor furniture. Duncan was a gracious host. Highly recommended.

Beautiful house with so much character. The location was so peaceful yet close to Dumfries where we were easily able to get take-out for dinner. We only stayed one night as a stopover on our way home but we found the house to be comfortable and well-equipped. The milk and water in the fridge plus all the seasonings/spices in the kitchen were such a nice surprise that we don't often find in AirBnBs, as were the very nice bathroom amenities. The only thing I'd mention - our daughter had us up at 5:30 am because there are only curtains, no blinds/shutters, in the bedrooms and, although the curtains are thick, it was still very bright in the bedrooms as soon as the sun started rising, which is very early at this time of year. Just keep this in mind if you're coming with young kids who are light sleepers!

We had a great stay at Paul’s, there were plenty of amenities which created a homely environment. Paul is very responsive and any help we needed he was always very quick to respond. The house is perfectly located, plenty nearby including supermarkets and traditional pubs. Would definitely return!

Keswick is a beautiful base for visiting the Lakes District and this apartment is in a great location in Keswick. Easy to walk into the centre of town for dinner or groceries. The apartment had lots of good books about nearby walking and the gas fire was a lovely addition. Unexpectedly spacious flat with well equipped kitchen.

Very cosy and exactly how they describe the apartment definitely would stay here again. Easy access to all local shops and places around just convenient

The apartment was exactly as described , easy access , the apartment was clean with all the essentials . It was perfect for our family get together . Have recommended it to my family for future get togethers. Highly recommended if your are visiting the area . Many thanks Mandy

As a couple with a dog seeking a weekend break Dunollie at Balquhidder was perfect for us. Cosy and spotlessly clean, in a great location for walks and the excellent Mhor84 just down the road for a superb breakfast. A perfect break for us, thank you Alison and Hannah.

Amazing appartement with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathroom. The view is great, very clean place and very quiet. The shower is unreal. Also very nice host. Prosecco bottle and wine in the fridge was a brilliant suprise. Lovely weekend in Belfast, highly recommend!!

Great flat in a beautiful location. There are stairs to get down into main entrance of building which were a little difficult for one of our reduced mobility travelers but we made it work! Very much enjoyed our stay and Ross sent great information and instructions on how to get in.

What we found was consistent with all the other positive reviews already given. For a two person apartment, it is exceptionally roomy and comfortable. If, like when we were there, Scotland actually countenances some sunshine, you will find the apartment flooded with morning sun reflecting off the water - quite something and even better from the balcony. Very good quality furniture and the fittings and equipment provided were mostly good too. Excellent instruction manual and note for getting to Whiting Bay was easy to follow and very accurate. Helpful and friendly written messages from host. The spectacular Glenashdale waterfall is within fairly easy walking distance and, as walking from the bottom to the top of a glen goes, not too demanding! Given what we got, we think the apartment was very good value.

We thoroughly enjoyed it. We had absolutely all we needed. Location is amazing: in the best part of the old town, 2mins from cafes, reataurants, pubs AND near the castle and historic attractions. Highly recommended- we will come back!

We stayed as a group of 8 and could not rate our stay high enough! The area was stunning and private, the villa was spacious and comfortable and our host was attentive for the entire duration of the stay. We cannot wait to book our next stay and hope to make it an annual trip! 12 out of 10!

Such a beautiful home and perfect for our family’s stay for our daughter’s wedding at a farm nearby. Such a unique property and we were grateful for the gorgeous back garden since we had such great weather. Kitchen was well-equipped and we enjoyed the setup of the house overall.

Nick went above and beyond in supporting our trip. We were 10 adults 6 kids, for me the old worldly feel & nature showing through every window was unreal-Every room felt unique & special. Beautiful peaceful surroundings, very close to village but feels like we were out in the country. House, Beautifully decorated, big but yet felt very cosy. Everything you could possibly need was provided for. Outside amenities included a hot tub which was the icing on the cake of a magnificent property •Aged 74: Such a wonderful ambience for a family gathering so peaceful •Aged 43: Nothing like having you're own personal hotel for a weekend :) Aged 12: I want to live there, it was gorgeous. We loved our stay at Achnaha. The house was just what we needed, with a stunning view from the deck (we were lucky enough to enjoy many sunsets). It is close to many beautiful beaches, the ferry to Gigha is a short drive away, there is so much to discover in this part of the world. Kim was responsive to our messages and shared lots of helpful recommendations. Thanks for a really memorable weekend!

Had a couple of issues, for example low gas in the patio furnitures fire pit, however John was proactive with solving any minor issues we had. Nice knowing we’re celebrating another Celtic League win in the gracious host of a fellow supporter. Couldn’t recommend enough.
