“Communication was great. Especially ist this difficult time, Siobhan stayed in contact and kept us up to date for the changes in ireland. It was a very warm welcoming with scones and Muffins. The Check in was easy with the co Host. The cozy Apartment ist totally equipped with everything you need and if something is missing the Host is pretty fast to make your wish come true. I Loved the surrounding ..best to the beach and seaview from the Couch. Even the glass full of everything you might have forgotten (toothbrush, Shampoo f.e.) was very special to me for a Air BnB. I am sure we will come back soon. Stay Safe!”
A three bedroom holiday home set in a gated rural complex, only 1km from the world famous Ballybunion Golf Club and 2km from the vibrant bustling seaside town of Ballybunion. A family friendly holiday home with one ensuite double bedroom and two twin bedrooms, one of which is situated on the ground floor. The kitchen and dining room area backs out to a private garden.
“Siobhan is a great host. She was very helpful and responded promptly to all our questions. The heating was on when we arrived and the house is warm and cosy. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. Bedroom was very comfortable with an en suite. Siobhan was very accommodating with our arrival and departure time. A great stay and would stay her again. Just be aware that you are not in the village itself but about 2km away, .5 on an unlit road and 1.5 on lit street. Ideal location for golfers. Thanks for having us.”
Thatched cottage with a turf fire set in five acres of organic meadow and gardens. A choice of spectacular beaches are a short drive away; Banna Strand with miles of golden sand and Ballybunion where you can take a traditional seaweed bath before plunging in to the Atlantic.. The nearby market towns of Listowel and Tralee are full of independent shops and retain the feel of the recent past. Kerry Airport is 40 minutes drive.
“Liz & John's place is fantastic for exploring Kerry and this part of the West. It's quick drive to the local town of Ballyduff and on further then to the Kerry head coastline which is beautiful. Plenty of cycle routes nearby, especially the Gap of Dunloe, Slea head and Kerry head itself. We spent the evenings relaxing in the quaint and cosy living room beside a roaring turf fire, playing vinyls and some nights watching the TV. The hosts have been super friendly and welcoming, encouraging us to roam the land and help ourselves to whatever herbs we can find. Rosemary roast potatoes made an appearance more than once. Would recommend their place to anyone who needs a base to see the area or just wants to chill in the countryside away from it all. Thanks Liz and John!”
