The Stone House, Ballyvaughan, Burren, Co Clare

Our beautiful limestone home is located on “The Wild Atlantic Way” 6 kilometers from Ballyvaughan Village on our family farm. Our home is in the Burren National Park. Our home has its own fresh mountain spring water that is thirst quenching and refreshing and flows down from the springs all year round. Gleninagh Pier is across the road, a fabulous place for swimming and diving, when the tide is out a beautiful sandy area to enjoy. Our home is ideally situated for fishing, local walks and trails.

Burren Apartment with a view

This bright, spacious, newly built self catering two bedroom apartment is attached to a family home and beside a family farm. It is a great base for walking and exploring the beautiful Burren. It is situated in Finavarra Demesne overlooking Finavarra House, the bay and the Burren Mountains. The Flaggy Shore is only 1.2km walking distance and Linnane's Lobster Bar is 1.5km drive. Other areas close by: Kinvara 13km, Ballyvaughan 13km, Doolin 36km, Cliffs of Moher 40km, Burren Perfumery 12km.

It is located a stones throw from the lovely old fishing village of ballyvaughan, that was once the heart of Clare and is now part of the Wild Atlantic Way. Spend a day in the sun on one of many beaches nearby or visit the stunning Burren and its fabulous attractions, such as Aillwee Cave and Birds of Prey Centre, Doolin Cave, Caherconnell Fort and the majestic Cliffs of Moher. Nestled alongside one of Ireland’s most iconic landmarks, Doonagore Castle Cottage has been painstakingly renovated by the castle’s owners, merging authentic 300-year-old features with modern amenities, to offer guests a unique vacation experience. Doolin village, famous for its music and culinary delights, is a ten-minute walk away, the dramatic not-to-be-missed cliffs of Moher a short drive, and a spectacular 14th century castle right next door.

The Blue Yard

The Blue Yard is a tiny home on the beautiful drive-on island of Aughinish, 12 km outside the sea-side town of Kinvara, named one of the top ten beautiful villages in Ireland. Aughinish Island is accessed by a 1 km causeway (not tidal) and is an area of unspoilt beauty with local pebble beaches a five minute walk away and the sandy beach of Traught a ten min drive away (8 km). You'll be staying on the Clare-Galway border with both the wildness of the Burren and Galway city at your doorstep.

With stunning views of Galway Bay, this luxurious ensuite studio is tucked away on a very private and beautifully landscaped acre lot. A three-minute walk down our road takes you to the waterfront. A lovely hiking trail is just up the hill past St. Patrick's Church. Located in the village of New Quay on the scenic Wild Atlantic Way, we are on the route to Ballyvaughan and the Ciffs of Moher. (A car is necessary - we are in a very beautiful rural area with very limited public transport.)

Burren chalet - beautiful space, fabulous location

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. The chalet is nestled at the foot of Oughtmama Mountain amongst ash, hazel, and whitethorn trees. It's the perfect location for walking on the Burren pavement, caving, rock climbing, foraging on the shore, or swimming in the Atlantic. You can enjoy a delicious meal and a pint in one of the many great pubs or restaurants in the area, or you can shop in one of the local farmer's markets and cook up a storm in the chalet.
