Enjoy our holiday cottage on the edge of the Lake District. Many lakes, fells and beaches are easily drivable. Birkrigg common isn’t far and gives lovely views. The pub’s a 5-minute walk away and serves food most evenings There are buses to both Barrow and Ulverston and beyond at the end of the road. Ulverston is famous for its many festivals which attract lots of tourists. Barrow is only a 10-minute drive away for shops or if you want to go a little further Walney nature reserves are lovely.

It is just five minutes' walk from the centre of Grange-over-Sands, an unspoiled Edwardian seaside town on the coast of Morecambe Bay, 20 minutes from the Lake District National Park. Public transport into the Lakes is limited and a car is recommended for wider exploration.
