The Hayloft

Situated in Warwick-on-Eden, this delightful cottage where the hay was originally stored, is within five minutes of the M6 motorway near Carlisle. Built of local sandstone, it dates back to around 1842 and overlooks a cobbled courtyard. It was tastefully restored some twenty years ago retaining the original wooden beams and offers a high standard of accommodation for a maximum of four people. It's within walking distance of both the renowned pub, The Queens and local shops at Warwick Bridge.

An ‘Amazing Spaces’ inspired shipping container conversion, set in a peaceful secluded wildlife friendly garden, at the foot of the Pennine hills. The container is a 5 minute walk from the picturesque Talkin village which has a friendly pub serving food. A woodburning stove (logs supplied) ensures the container stays cosy in all weathers. Wetheral is just 3 miles from junction 42 on the M6 and the village has great amenities including a Village Shop and post office, Cafe, and a great pub just across the road! Wetheral Railway Station is a short walk from the cottage with regular trains to Carlisle and Newcastle. Easy access to Gretna Green, the Lake District, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
