Located in a quiet cul du sac in the historic market town of Kendal with convenient access to the M6, Lake District & Yorkshire dales. The cosy cabin suitable for a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children is a 20min walk to town centre along the scenic River Kent or a 4 minute walk to the fantastic Romney’s pub with its fabulous food & fine ales. There is parking available & a private outside decking area. Don’t want to walk ? We are a 30sec walk to the bus stop 2 minutes from the property.

I only book guests with previous good reviews (at least 2). No pets allowed. Maximum of 6 people (including infants). Please note the location is REMOTE, no shops are near (25 min drive to Co-op in Hawkshead), but there is a pub 5 min drive away in Satterthwaite. You are not far from Grizedale Centre, Coniston or Windermere.

Lake View Lodge

Stay at the Lake View Lodge and enjoy lovely views of Lake Windermere and its mountain backdrop. The Lake View Lodge is a self-contained, wooden lodge with access to three acres of grounds and wild meadows attracting a wonderful array of wildlife including owls, red kites, deer, foxes and woodpeckers. Yealands is a fairly new site surrounded by planted trees with water features for the local ducks and other water fowl. We are opposite the main village where the restaurant, gym and pool are located. The Yealands is a quieter site, perfect for relaxing after a long day visiting the many local attractions. The site is on the border of Lancashire the Yorkshire dales and the famous Lake district. Local interest brochures in lodge and at reception.
